Sry but no. Remember how great we were with Nerlinger in his position? Yes, we were beaten badly by Dortmund. With Sammer, things changed tremendously. Klopp is great but he sometimes tends to idocy with statements like this or his beyond stupid comparison of Bayern and the Chinese. Haha, Lehrlinger... god, I'm so glad we got rid of him. But to be precise, Sammer has a wider area to cover as Nerlinger ever had. Sammer is part of the squad, the players are listening to him and react when he critisizes them and he is Peps link to players like Schweini and Lahm and a cache for Pep and the board. His influence is bigger than any other of the 4 leading heads at Bayern.

Those players weren't signed by Nerlinger, nor by Sammer. I'd bet my ass it's still Hoeneß making the decisions on big transfers. Martinez was Heynckes' wish and Hoeneß believed his old pal. Rode and Kirchhoff are the only signings that were probably 100% Sammer signings. And well...

But Sammer at least talks a lot with the players, Nerlinger was completely useless. How much influence that is in detail, nobody knows.

In theory that means a little less this year but I know it doesn't. I actually have found Vlad Chiriches to be a really nice defender in FIFA due to his speed. He's my Ogbonna this year. I added Loic Remy to my team because everyone else uses him due to his speed.. gotta fight cheesers with cheese I guess.
