"Ever reliable James Milner"

Ever reliable mediocrity.

The commentators are as much dinosaurs as Pat Butcher in charge of the squad.

Milner coming on for Sturridge, now that's the shit Roy should get punished for, not because he's playing a 4-3-3 that looks like a 4-1-2-2-1 which is what every fucking 4-3-3 is on Football Manager

Here we fucking go with the Milner bashing.

Milner... that scary face will see us through now. Game done.

Imagine Rodgers with this squad.

:looooool

He's as underwhelming a footballer as anyone could possibly be. He's not necessarily bad or good, but he just does nothing that stands out ever.

apart from that goal against bayern munich but they're shit

Milner is the archetypal nothing player. Maybe there's some quality he has that I just don't appreciate, but as far as I can tell, he provides fuck all to us or to City aside from ineffective positional discipline

Actually I thought he has been pretty good. Although he was the second most forward player just then as part of the Wilbz/Hodgson "4-3-3"

Well because it would be odd to stay in position all the time, hence why sometimes full backs get forward and Xavi scores for Barcelona

He plays in slow motion, and not in a Zidane sense.

Takes him about an hour after controlling the ball a few times to actually decide what he is going to do with it, usually amounts to a shit cross. Or running forwards a little, seeing a fullback, turning around and passing backwards.

Waste of a squad member, awful player.

Well we won, in the most turgid manner possible, no invention, no movement, no real quality bar quality players that somehow let their talent shine through such shit tactics. Well done to Lallana and Sturridge for that, must have taken everything they had to break out like that.

Moyes has broken you man. When you look at a Hodgson team and think "not so bad that" then you know your standards have been reduced to nothing. :)

Seriously England did get their shape back towards the end there. When I commented they were all over the shop.

Sturridge: "Hodgson is a dinosaur shitcunt, why doesn't he play me in my best position, is he an idiot? I scored in spite of that dinosaur."

Rough translation.

Do not speak his name

The Copper Topped Klopp must not have his real name whispered in public

Classy comments from Sturridge. Remember when he was arrogant and nobody should sign him?

TBF, Mancini wouldn't have sold him if he was in charge - said so himself. Hughes is the reason he left City, no other reason.

You have Hughes to thank.

Dunno where that Sturridge is arrogant stuff comes from, confident lad but he was never billy big bollocks... he just believed he was good enough to play at the highest level. And he was, and is... just needed someone to trust in that.

Hoddle agrees with me, need Barkley and Lallana in there to play the smart touches, movements and passes. Ideal for international level. Only worry would be Lallana burning out as he works so hard for saints he tends to tire out late in games so by the time of Brazil may be a bit tired.

DC - Didn't he ask for big money too? I think that was more a case of him thinking that would secure a place in the team, not greed as he knew he should be playing. He was as good as any England prospect I have seen at 14/15 and should have been fast tracked to club and international football.

Mancini also says that this City side is his and the Treble winning side of Inter was his

so

please chose wisely when deciding whether to listen to mancini or not

Good to see Sturridge carry on with his Liverpool form. Definitely better than Ba LOL, that was odd.

I assume I can watch Utopia on 4oD? What about Life on Mars, is that on the iPlayer?

Read something similar on Blue Moon. Something about Hughes briefing the press against Sturridge by releasing the wage offer made to him.
