Man Utd - Liverpool is gonna be a cracker. I can feel it.

Shame Chelsea get the chance to put even more of a gap between themselves and the chasing pack this weekend. Hate having games in hand, and I imagine City will be bemoaning that a million times more than ourselves :p

I finished exactly like that playing 5-a-side, and I'm unspeakably shite.

I scored a sweet volley last week... Can I play for City now?

Mancini also says that this City side is his and the Treble winning side of Inter was his

so

please chose wisely when deciding whether to listen to mancini or not

Well to be fair the spine of the City team are his signings. I think some of the stuff he says gets lost in translation. Like Frosties.

Dunno where that Sturridge is arrogant stuff comes from, confident lad but he was never billy big bollocks... he just believed he was good enough to play at the highest level. And he was, and is... just needed someone to trust in that.

Hoddle agrees with me, need Barkley and Lallana in there to play the smart touches, movements and passes. Ideal for international level. Only worry would be Lallana burning out as he works so hard for saints he tends to tire out late in games so by the time of Brazil may be a bit tired.

DC - Didn't he ask for big money too? I think that was more a case of him thinking that would secure a place in the team, not greed as he knew he should be playing. He was as good as any England prospect I have seen at 14/15 and should have been fast tracked to club and international football.

Barkley has been beyond dogshite in every aspect since returning from injury. I'm sure he isn't fit to be playing

I think a few people are over estimating Barkely a bit purely from his excellent display away to Arsenal. For every good thing he does on the pitch he evens it up with a bad pass or by being indecisive. He will obviously improve those sides of his game with age but I would miss him for the World Cup and take him to the Euro's in two years time.

And they did fuck all last year; Pellegrini is the one that's actually got them playing.

True, but they do play Spurs. So we win either way.

We should have just give it him, we weren't exactly strapped for cash, paying the likes of Bridge and Adebayor silly money.

We brought him through the youth system to just.... let him go.

Something mentioned a lot on Bluemoon is that Ched Evans was ahead of him in Hughes' pecking order. No wonder he left :p

They are often lofted, by the time they reach the target the defence has already reshuffled. They don't work at international level when up against the best; short, fast passing and movement is more suited to international football.

Sometimes they create a threat but often against minnows.

Dem Premier League minnows.

He did play about twice as many long passes than usual today though, 15/16. From 82 passes, 90%.

Morten Olsen departs. "I wish you good luck in the World Cup," he says, with a big smile. "You need it."

Beardvaldo is looking good indeed.

and Vidal is DEFINITELY injured. You don't ask for a sub on the 90th for fatigue.

He is young, for sure, but if we are being honest we have no chance of winning it so why not develop a player like him. As Hoddle said, a two footed player with his movement is perfect for international football. He is rough around the edges but I would have more faith in him than Wilshere and Henderson at that level personally. Played well for England when played. We should target the next euros and world cup.

I can see both sides of it, if the manager was going to start him then yeah it should be a no brainer. I think Sturridge was forcing the managers hand though and showed Hughes didn't want to play him so Sturridge knew it was time to move on. As bad as his development was at Chelsea, because they don't develop young English players (or many foreigners for that matter), he still got some good medals. Just a shame he was held back, as he should have been in on the scene like Rooney and Owen were.

Yeah, heard the same about Evans too, what happened to that guy? Used to love his combinations with Robinho, they worked quite well together.

Such a fantastic season he's having. Can't believe gooners entertained the thought Giroud is gonna be France's SS lol

Yeah, Hughes liked him above Sturridge more apparently. Welsh link I guess.

Btw, I dunno why I wrote it like that but the Robinho combinations I talked about was obviously about Sturridge, those two linked well. I don't remember much about Evans other than being a battering ram type.

Got done for rape, I believe.

Serious? Fecking 'ell, Nile Ranger and Bramble club eh?

Well, presumably at the time Giroud was playing better than Benzema.

But I suppose that doesn't fit in with the deluded gooner narrative.

Train yourself. I usually shit twice a day but when I went to Wembley I mentally prepared myself and I didn't shit for 2 and a half days.

When I went to reading I didn't shit the entire weekend despite all the food I ate there. Thought it was a blessing.

Until I returned home and anally massacred myself. Never again. The toilet looked like the end of a wood chipper.

Yeah when I eventually shat it was like I dropped an soggy nuke and it exploded before it touched the water. It sounded hilarious but the bowl was just pebbledashed completely.

There were boos when Cleverley's name was read out at an international friendly? Okay he's not an amazing player but I find that really disgusting. He's done nothing to warrant this personal attack on him except not be a good player. He's being bullied.

England fans need to sort themselves out because that's some disappointing shit for fans of a national team to be doing.
