Calling out shitty practices and scams in a very shady industry that actively rip consumers off and would get away with it without someone with the exposure like GN it isn't being an attention queen at all.
What a shitty pathetic post.
There is a difference between calling out a bad practice and trashing a product just because someone doesn’t like it or because it doesn’t have 100,000x the performance of the last-gen cards.
I made this clear in my post, but it seems you don’t have the ability to read properly. So, I’ll repeat it again in simpler words for you to understand. Nvidia claimed during their presentation that the 5070, with 4x MFG, is about 4090 level. Is that true? If yes, stop complaining—they didn’t lie. If it’s not true and the 4090 is far ahead in native vs. 4x frame gen, then he can criticize Nvidia all he wants.
Nothing in my post was "shitty and pathetic"—but your ability to read is.
Calling out a bad practice is like the Asus controversy from last year or the year before (whether it was about the motherboard or the ROG Ally, I don’t remember). This is
not the same. Learn the difference.
Wasn’t it obvious from the start of the generation that the performance jump wouldn’t be huge, considering it’s based on the same die as the previous generation? Everyone and their mother saw it coming—did he not? Wasn’t it clear when a 5090, with a $2000 price tag, isn’t even
30% more powerful than a 4090 at 4K? You’d have to be delusional to ignore all that just to make a drama video about a 5070.
Would he have been happy if they called it a "4070 Super Duper Ti"? WTF.
The card is priced similarly to the previous 4070, is still
better than the old generation, and has exclusive features like AI and MFG. It
does hold up to a degree with the 4x MFG claim, getting close to 4090 performance without frame generation.
Wasn’t the 4070 Super released just last year? How big of a jump does one expect within a
single year on the
same node? God gave people brains—why don’t some use them? Nope, let’s just create drama for views and clicks. That’s how it works, right?
If you don’t like MFG, fine. There are plenty of walls for you and him to bang your heads against. The fact remains: it’s a
good, decent card for its price. And personally, I
love the MFG on my 5080 (or the 5090, if I decide to keep the Astral when they ship it).
"NOOO SHITTY CARD, DON’T BUY IT! BUT YOU KNOW WHAT TO BUY? OUR SHITTY MOUSE PAD! IT COSTS US 10 CENTS BUT WE SELL IT FOR $20 FROM OUR STORE! AWESOME, RIGHT?"
Seriously, f*** off ( not you of course ). Don’t tell people what to buy or not—it’s none of your business.
Watch this card become one of the most popular GPUs, despite all the whining from him and people like him. Pure drama queens.
