We gonna call all their games of the past retroactively woke too? Did this dude specifically fight to include pronouns or whatever folks hate? Mass Effect 3 had other story issues, they had to retcon the ending or something, no? Says "writer" and not "lead writer" or "senior writer" as is distinguished in past games. I'm pretty sure those are gonna be the same as the last game (and vet everything, duh). Is it known for having an amazing story so people fear the sequel won't? Playing it on PC but other games grabbed me more so I'm just at the start, it seems alright enough but not something I'll fondly look back on like games with great stories. Anthem had a cool setting if (but) nothing else and did flop before the "everything that fails is woke, everything that succeeds anti woke" sentiment some wanna push too. Keep digging for dat outrage. Edit: so he worked on every Mass Effect too, not just Andromeda, lol. Well, you can just claim he always did the parts you hate in every game and if there are no parts to hate blame him for the game not being memorable and just cancel him unless he joins the cause and publicly says Veilguard not my fault, I'm a sigma snowflake like you!

And for the sequel they were already doubling down with the female samurai as protagonist.

Normally, I would have said that it was a nothingburger but GOY is off to a bad start. You have the loonie nonbinary pan-sexual actress/model with her questionable tweets and it seems she holds some resentment towards white people. Let's also be honest, she's not exactly the hottest woman on the block whereas Jin is a good looking man. The game stars a female ronin/samurai warrior who weren't common, and then this.

GoT already had woke elements but this stuff wasn't very "in your face" like in 2024/2025 games. There is 75% chance that GoY will be very woke, but unlike Intergalactic it will have to be toned down to some extend by the setting.

Just remember that we were supposed to get Tsushima 2 starring Jin and when these degenerates came in they immediately forced a woman protagonist on the team delaying the game which adds to dev costs. The actress they hired for the protagonist is LGBT and wants to push that agenda.
