I posted in a previous thread a few weeks ago that I was watching LoL Arcane and I was happy it was sisters that were the main characters. I was like, YES, finally something that doesn't stereo type woman to hell. But no, I get to season 2 and they do it anyways. My God, and I mean that seriously.

I used to give a benefit of a doubt to this stuff. but now I'm like 70% sure it will have that due to trends. I really hope not though because I liked GoT.

Haven't played the first one yet and honestly I can comfortably pass on this franchise entirely now. I mean, what's the point of playing the first game if you know you're going to 100% pass on the second one and there's countless other games w/o the DEI stuff to spend my time on.

thats not the way it works. Sweet Baby doesn't put anything in the game the developer doesn't want to put in the game. And there are many companies doing exactly what sweet baby is doing.

First game was good though and since they dumped the protagonist and moved timeline 300 years, it's not like this is a sequel.

The first one is like an AC game without so much bloat(you still get a map with tons of icons tho). The story is slightly better than the average AC, and it ends when the game/dlc end. So Yotei is not a direct sequel. You can play it. Solid 8/10 game imo.
