Good Comparison of DLSS 4 vs 3

Gamer79

Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
Most videos on YouTube do not use high end capture devices so often the comparisons look the same. If you want to see the difference this video does a good job . What's crazy is that in some cases, DLSS 4 performance looks better than native 4k. It really is the secret sauce.

Believe AI is the beginning of this new decade until Quantum in the next.

It's the MP3 effect, some people like it more than a .wav when the MP3 is a compressed file and the .wav isn't.

Ok, because I still struggle to get good FPS on a 4070, need to disable RT

really?
when I tried it on my PC near release (my cousin has it and we do family sharing) it ran ok-ish on my 3060ti.

the only real issues were the Unreal Engine typical traversal stutters.

I ran sensible settings and RT reflections enabled at 1440p DLSS balanced. looked ok, and ran at 60+fps (with said stutters of course, but back then you literally couldn't do anything about those)

Holy shit @ those hogwarts legacy comparisons. This gives me confidence that 1080p native may be sufficient input for AI reconstruction next gen. Path tracing in AAA games on consoles could actually be viable within 3 years!

Well that’s assuming AMD/Sony can even catch up with Nvidia’s witchcraft 2-3 years from now.
