Same. I am trying to get through the Orange Box, but I am so FPSed out right now. If someone had told me 6 months ago that I was not getting COD4 day one I would have thought they were crazy.

I think his opinion is valid (although he could have stated it in a less incindiary way) although GAF's gifs always make me chuckle.

Note: I haven't played COD4 (although I plan to get it very soon) but it wouldn't surprise me if the multiplayer was better.

Me 3. I was actually on the fence for Orange Box for the longest time, and then ended up picking it up in the TRU deal. After Halo 3, Bioshock, and now Episode 1, I'm ready for Assassin's Creed. Call of Duty 4 caught me at a bad time.

Overrated game of the year. By a mile. It's a pretty Medal of Honor. Single player is yawnful last gen AI and scripted events. Shit, FEAR is a better game depite having 1/10th the atmosphere and creativity because at least the AI is good and the gun battles are fun.

How should I be doing it? We're partying up with a team full of Aussies and looking for games, which throws us in with Americans. I understand there's a larger population of Americans on the game but at least Halo 3's "Good Connection" filter attempts to pit us against other Australians or Kiwis (and 8/10 it does so elegantly). All I need from CoD4 is a filter by country so I can get actual play time in. I don't know how long I've played the game but I'm sure at least a third of it is in the menu trying to find a game, which I think is unacceptable when other games do it so much better. BTW, "you're doing it wrong because you're Australian" is not an acceptable response.

Like I say, when I'm actually playing the game I'm having fun (besides the shoot-each-other-in-the-back gameplay) but the problem is I'm not being allowed to actually play the game as it was intended because of their crappy party system.
