Only where features existed in the originals.

How is the netcode going to work in Halo: CE and Halo 2 multiplayer? Is CE going to have the same lockstep netcode it did on system link in the original, and is Halo 2's netcode going to be updated at all (in the original, you couldn't grenade jump off-host, hit registration was pretty much broken if the crosshair wasn't red, etc)?

Hey Frankie, you have anything to share about the leveling system?
Man Nov needs to come fast.

Yes, I want to know this too. There seems to be a new matchmaking interface that works across all games for multiplayer, how do Halo 2's ranking and clans fit in?

I've always been confused on how competitive ranking would work on dedicated servers. Everyone was excited when this was announced for Halo 5. But cant you just sit in the same lobby and boost your rank? Can someone fill me in please?

Fantastic news, so all games will remain fully intact with all features included?

No matter what route they chose, it's going to be 100x easier with dedicated servers.

Hey Frankie while you are here. What is there in the way of behind the scenes making of stuff? Please tell me there is some really cool stuff in this regard included.

Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
Should be 343's motto. Its too true.

I've used the term embarrassment of riches before but few things in gaming have deserved it as much as this. And I'm only in it for campaign and co-op.

Speaking of which, two questions on Halo 4: Is Spartan Ops included? And any chance the Waypoint cinematic stuff can play directly within the game this time around?

I'm concerned about the 60fps claim for halo 1. The animations even in the PC version are 30fps. Unless they remake them or have 60fps versions that we've never seen then idk.

I thought this was real.

Only downside to the Halo 2 footage - they had "Sniper Kill" "Plasma Kill", etc in the middle of the screen...

It was bad in Halo 4, why do they need to add it for this?

Locking down the playlists so there are maybe 3-5 for each game would be key to having people find matches.
I'm still curious how the blending and unique MP situation is going to be handled.

If they're exclusive, all you really need to do is FFA (8 players), 4v4 Team Slayer, 4v4 Objectives (Flag variations, Assault, Plots, Oddball, King), and Big Team (Slayer, Obj mix / 16 players).

Re-watching, I do notice this. At least the medals aren't splashed across the screen. Perhaps these are just in the "Anny" maps?

Gosh, how could I almost forget: Will Halo 2's soundtrack be given an orchestra treatment, like Halo 1's?

A lot of Halo 2's soundtrack sounds like it was recorded live already, but I wouldn't mind a sufficiently bombastic update of the battle themes, namely the Earth one.

the entire collective mlg community would drop shits from a great height on this package if you removed the game enhancing glitches known as BXR , BXB, and doubleshot from our beloved Halo 2.

Anything that annoys Halo's MLG community is all right by me. The bugs might spark a bit of nostalgia in the short term, but long term they will become a pain in the ass yet again, especially if you want to play anything other than slayer matches.

I can appreciate it's not an easy decision as Stinkles has said, but it's a different world compared to when Halo 2 was originally released and I can't see myself playing a competitive game for long where bugs are constantly used against me when I could be playing something else.

I'll still get it for the 60fps campaigns but lack of bug fixes has reduced my enthusiasm for the multiplayer mode, which is a shame.

Super freaking excited about the CG Blur cinematics. Their work for Halo Wars was amazing, can't wait to see it for Halo 2. The ODST drop on Delta Halo is gonna be awesome.

I want to know if the dedicated servers will also benefit the coop campaings. Halo coop always suffered from some big lag issues.

Kind of weird question, but Frankie, did the VAs re-record their voices or did you simply just rip it straight from Halo 2 in a copy and paste scenario? What about the music?
