Oh no.
Was twitter also super worried about the living descendants of George Washington when they made him a dictator ?

An ancestor of a woman in the 1500s, we dont know if she was faithful or not lmao

Every powerful monarch in story has been depicted as shit in a lot of media but watch out, it's Japan monarchy this time around

Watching the clips in the OP gives me flashbacks to C-SPAN coverage of Senator Joe Lieberman clutching his pearls in Congress over games like Night Trap, Mortal Kombat, Doom and Lethal Enforcers (specifically because it had 'realistic' plastic guns). Society has come so far!

"Unauthorized use of real-world locations is unacceptable" .... is that even possible? How can Japan even prevent the use of these locations in videogames? You can't copyright or trademark centuries old buildings, shrines, houses, etc.

Reminds me of when the Church Of England was crying and bitching about the use of Manchester Cathedral in Resistance - Fall Of Man and it was "an outrage in the UK" (It wasn't)

But because it's Ubisoft. Everyone and their mother is jumping onto it. It's stupid and I don't even like Ubishit games.

You shouldn't. The last time IGN used a translator, they fucking lied about what was actually said and used it to personally attack the Wu Kong developers. Maybe they are right this time, maybe not, but the idea you would trust them more is ridiculous. Like those clowns don't have an agenda...lol.
IGN is not a single entity. The Japanese website isn't lying to its audience (Japanese people) that can actually check and understand the source materials on their own.
Like, come on now.

It's all IGN, none of them should be trusted. And the comments were translated by Japanese staffers for the English audience, not the Japanese audience, which is exactly the same thing they did with Wu Kong. They got a Chinese translator to lie to English speakers. Chinese people got wind of it and said she was full of shit, which is exactly what this Japanese Youtuber is claiming. Like I said, I don't know if they are telling the truth this time or not, but the idea you would trust them after the last few years is laughable.

Eh, I don't necessarily agree, but I'll give you this one as I thought IGN Japan -not IGN USA- was linked there. Cheers.

JP govermnent is laughable considering they are partly responsible for the mess that is overtourism now, they always want more (they aim to double the amount of last year) so they should be the last people in giving lessons.

This is so dumb, get outraged by a videogame when you currently have fucking streamers creating a shit ton of problems in the country, hell they let Somali do his thing for months.

Seems japanese government definitely have their priorities straight.

They can’t ever do it right anymore, anyway. This is just drama for the sake (not the drink) drama.
People would’ve complained if objects in the world couldn’t be destroyed as well.

Japan needs to grow up and Ubisoft needs to sell or heavily spend time reinvesting in themselves to get their priorities straight.

At least the games looks really good, so they got something right. People seem to be happy about Naoe, too.

This, their only good devs left are the Anno devs.
They also have Heroes of Might & Magic: The Olden Era in development (dev is Unfrozen, an external studio). And it looks like it could be a good one.
And they have a Rayman game in development, apparently. With Michel Ancel being involved.

Ubisoft might be your stupid retarded little brother. But you still defend him because he is gaming. Nobody can attack my gaming other than other gamers.

None of those people are objected to play the game, this type of behavior is happening on a regular basis now where everyone things they’re insulting someone.
