This looks surprisingly bad, visually. Hopefully it's fun.
yep, saw this earlier. Looks like everything the first game was, but better. Day 1 purchase for me, no question.

Is this supposed to be a 150+ hr experience? I feel like the devs have already shown off 10+ hrs of footage. I'm sold, but I get a little concerned by devs that show off their game too much. As if they are trying everything possible to get as many preorders as possible. I'm expecting bugs at launch, just like the first

30 fps only on console nah I'll pass again
I know this was mentioned earlier on but I thought there was mention after that about 60fps being possible or something. I have the game pre-ordered on PS5 but if it is definitely stuck at 30 then I will cancel.

I cry about Xbox and hate PlayStation.

ic, hope they patch it at a later date then, i dont mind some compromises as long we get a 60fps.

i know the first game still stuck on 30fps.

This game has its issues, its definitely not perfect, but i can't deny its has charm. Maybe i'm just nostalgic to this based on its genre and the way it plays, but i just like it.
While it has technical issues that can take you out of immersion sometimes like pop ins and glitches, it also has incredible lighting, incredible forests and great ambient sounds and music to further enhance its immersion.
I also LOVE the UI and how its written, I also like that it stands out as a unique medieval simulator with good amount of rpg mechanics.
So yes the gameplay mechanics are not deep, but they have the charm because of the way they are implemented, the lock picking being hard at first and easy at the end represents a fun and satisfying progression loop to me.
The story is decent enough based on the events and none of the characters feels offensive or unlikable to me, but nobody also feels super amazing or anything, but i just respect the attempt, clearly the devs are working according to their budget. I mean the cinematics are not cutting edge or something like the top dogs of the industry but they only made few games, its not like RGG for example who showers us with bloated and recycled story-driven games only for them to be cookie cutter and subpar cinematically.

I'm excited for this as i enjoyed the first one, when i bought KCD i expected a fairly average game, but i was surprised by how much i enjoyed it and how much it kept me playing daily, hopefully the second one delivers.

Was interested until they said that the game won't run in 40 or 60fps on consoles. Even the first one is only 30.

Didn't buy all this expensive equipment to play games at 30.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Still have to play the first one but been hearing a lot of positive things
It's great for sure. Just don't go in expecting an action focused RPG like Skyrim or The Witcher 3. KCD is more about simulation, immersion and role-playing. Has some jank in the gameplay but it's compensated by a great story and writting.

I don't know why but that grass looks so good. Crytek has a particular look and it's refreshing to see games on it. Will probably perform super well as it seems to be a continuation of the first game and the engine runs well on modern machines. I hope they take Crysis's remastered ray tracing

Tobi from Warhorse said couple weeks back that they will announce system requirements and console specs soon, likely before end of the year, and he specifically said he thinks console gamers will be pleased. I am pretty sure there will be at the very least 40fps mode, but probably 60. And Pro support is a given.

That's nice but as this is a direct sequel to the first, which only runs at 30, I still won't play it. They should've fixed that long ago. They could have easily made it run at 60 on Series X and PS5.

Imagine making a war game with cutscenes showing armies numbering in the hundreds and designing a 1v1 combat system for it.

Genius.
The game goes for realism, almost sim like combat and thats the reason i droped the 1st cuz the combat is just not fun. But everething else is super imersive. Ill buy on sale and maybe this time i find a weapon thats a bit more fun to play with.

They said they are a small team and would need a third party to deal with that.

I agree first game should have been updated, but that's up to Deep Silver to greenlight. No idea why they can't ask Saber to handle it since they did great job with the switch port.

Yeah, Day 1. The first game is an absolute masterclass in immersion and one of the best games of the last generation for sure. I very excite.

Loved the first one, preordered the sequel. It's gonna be great, no doubt. More of the same would be enough so I'm not expecting big improvements over the first one. Give me the second half of the story with same gameplay and I'll be fine. Henry was alright, I like him.

They can’t patch the first one unless the publisher let them.
