sex tape?
Haha. It was just fascinating, seeing all the work that went behind the special effects and stuff. I also rather enjoyed the main cast just talking about when they were filming and such.

I would watch one if it existed, just for Sanders.

KStew in any film shes in:

ZZZZZzzzzzz

Shes just so dead and vacant inside.

I don't know that I would say that she's vacant inside. Gambling against the house there, my friend!

Anyway, I've still got no problem with K Stew. My exposure to her has been limited to Adventureland, Into the Wild and Huntsman.

I liked the first one, so this is good news. Sure it could've been much better, but at least it wasnt a total disaster. Now they only need to find a way to bring Charlize back.

Kristen always looks bored, but she's hot. I don't get why people always say she wasn't good enough for Snow White, she's pretty.

Although Charlize Theron was the only bright spot for an otherwise "meh" movie, this news still beats to pesky rumors of only Chris Hemsworth and his "No-Name-Who-The-Fuck-Cares-About-His-Character-This-Is-Snow White's-Movie" Hunstman character the only one returning for a spin-off of sorts.

I think Penn did an excellent job personally. The whole Stewart section sucked, and the letters being on the screen is goofy as fuck, but it's close to greatness with some tightening to me.

Well, for a movie about nature and freeing oneself from society's links, it felt claustrophobic and controlled to me, artificial if you will.
Compared to how someone like Herzog or even Malick frames nature (each in their own ways) i was disappointed.
Herzog, even in an adventure thrilling film like Rescue Dawn, can put very documentaristic details (like the shots of the people in the village) that give everything an extra depth and texture, they add life to it.
I think Into the Wild was the opposite of "wild".
same, it wasn't too shabby.
I've seen worst.

They should put that on the bluray box.

"not too shabby, i've seen worst"

Didn't she sleep with the director of the last one, and the whole thing came out and she made a public apology to Robert Paterson for cheating on him? Or was that a different movie ?

Basically it was awesome visuals + score brought down by some OTT acting from Charlize and the script, but overall enjoyable.

The visuals were totally derivative and unoriginal. They even went as far as lifting entire scenes wholesale.

Let me get this straight, this girl seduces and destroys that poor, innocent, man's marriage and she is rewarded with a film series?

It takes two, to tango.

I still haven't seen this movie, but when I heard something like Kristen Stewart is more fair than Charlize Theron, I broke down laughing.

Agreed. Normally I'm not a big fan but she rocked her role imo.

Movie would have made more sense if K-Stew's character was actually the evil one the entire time. They should like me direct a version, people would love it.

Snow White has this narcassitc complex thinking she's the most beautiful in the land, as a young girl she often hears people comparing her mother to her so she kills her out of jealousy. She forms a pact with some dark lord (fuck it, she forms a pact with Malenificant) to gain powers to keep her forever beautiful. Charlize's is a woman in another kingdom said to be the most beautiful in the land (again this makes sense, Charlize is much more beautiful than K-Stew). So Snow White manipulates her father into conquering Charlize's country slaughtering everyone, including children. They take Charlize prisoner so that Snow White can steal her beauty. Charlize escapes to the forest and befriends the seven dwarves who vow their swords to her cause. They start doing guerrilla style war tactics against the kingdom that's become oppressive. You find out the king has been long dead and Snow White is keeping him alive as a puppet through her dark magics. People are starving and fearful, they hear about a female warrior that's fighting against Snow White, and more and more people join her cause. Final battle takes place on a battlefield, much death and suffering. Charlize fights Snow White, is getting thrashed around soundly, pulls a method to win out her ass killing snow white and setting the country free. Or so they think, the camera zooms out showing that someone watched the whole ordeal happen through a crystal ball and you see just enough of their silhouette to make out an evil grin, cue credits.

Oscar bitches. We need to kickstart this bitch. I'm telling you GAF, I can make you all rich if you believe in me. Believe in me who believes in you who believes in me!

K Stew was terrible in the first one, but at least hilariously so.

I can't help but agree with the assessment that it was one of the best summer popcorn movies of the year. It was a nice visual treat that didn't rake my ass across the coals in disappointment like CERTAIN OTHERS.

I was hoping it didn't make enough for a sequel.

I know Stewart is bad, but Hemsworth was pretty awful too in my view, and this hurts as he's a fellow aussie.

If anything it was the most hilarious miscast.
"My Queen, you have defied nature and robbed it of its fairest root. But on this day there is one more beautiful than you", lol no.

Wasn't it so that the movie never actually said she is more BEAUTIFUL but instead she is "pure" or something like that? I think that was the whole point of the movie, that only someone more pure could end the spell?

I only saw it once, but I'm pretty sure they specifically wrote out the "is more beautiful than you", cause seriously, it's fucking Charlize Theron.

I liked the first one much more than I expected, so this is OK with me. Charlize Theron killed it as Ravenna. So good. The most important thing is that this sequel has an equally great villain.

Haven't seen this still, is K Stew as boring in this as her other roles?

She was terrible. I only knew Kristen Stewart from exposure in the media, this was the first movie I ever saw with her starring in. She can't act, her performance was completely lifeless and void of emotion. Her rousing speech to the troops at a pivotal point in the movie would in reality send every single soldier to his death. Snow Man and the Huntsman was a pretty movie to look at, but it started to fall apart after 30 minutes. It felt like faux LotR without any of the epicness and charm. Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron did their best, but you can't save a movie when the main character you're supposed to root for is so obnoxious.

The thing with Stewart's acting is that she played a character that was kept in a cell for basically half her life and so had to feel a bit "off" but for some reason she ran with that for the entire movie.

But it's the same character she plays in Twilight....she just can't act is the bottom line. You're just trying to sugar coat it :3

The best trailer for one of the most disappointing films of the year. Whomever cut the theatrical spot should be given an Oscar for salvaging the 3 minutes of usable action and dialog.

really enjoyed the first one. cant wait foe the sequel. this is the first thing ive seen her in so I was surprised as her role was pretty good.

I wanted to like the first one but it just seemed to really drag a little more than halfway through. I was so into the world of the film at first but by the end I was just glad it was over. Such a disappointment.
