i dont get this fact check article. This makes the original story to be misleading but it only confirms what the original story had already said? The original story even had a photo excerpt of the paper given to the family. i just woke up so maybe im missing something obvious.

First thing I thought of as soon as I read the title.
I still remember when I was younger at school my teacher tried to correct which hands I held my knife and fork in. He said that right handers ate with fork in left, knife in right and left handers ate with fork in right and knife in left. I am right handed, but I ate the "left handed" way and he kept trying to correct me for a while, but gave up as I wouldn't change I guess.
Interestingly my younger cousin does the same as me, family theorise it's because she just looked at how I ate at family dinners when growing up.
Read about this and there's different systems in different regions, so will point out I'm in the UK.

The thing you're missing is that the pediatriceducation.org article isn't calling left handed people evil, it's giving the background about why people care in a larger discussion of when kids develop handedness.
It's entirely possible that the teacher used the article to "prove" the left-handed kid is evil. But it's also entirely possible that the parent over-reacted to an article a teacher Googled to explain why a 4 year old is switching handedness all on his own.

There's quite a bit of regressing with attitudes lately. Surprisingly on NeoGaf, which traditionally has been very open and accepting. But this story is pretty silly considering it's a fucking superstition. Unbelievable.

My grandmother forced my mother to learn to write with her right hand by tying her left hand behind her back. She learned to write pretty well, she had better handwriting than most people I know. She still used her left for most other things though.
Me and my siblings are right handed. I remember that my mother was pretty angry when she noticed that both my siblings started using knives with their left hands to cut meat. They probably started imitating her unconsciously.
