People are tired of these new imaginary rules being set and being labeled with erroneous insults or worse. I don't care about the politics, this stuff has just become overly goofy now where differentiating male and female has become some sort of cardinal sin. That's what's concerning and why people are so sick of it.

There are ONLY 2 genders. You don't have to be scared to say that. If you're trans, I still respect you, but it doesn't change the fact.

What is scary is that they accumulated a shocking amount of power and could almost have taken over completely had they not gotten dizzy and overextended too quickly. Had they been a little more cunning, nefarious and patient, we could be in deep doo doo. But they might emerge from the shadows again later, having learned lessons.

Instead they pushed us too hard and fast into an intense political over-correction, that could potentially be so disastrous we over-correct back in the other direction. Started it a couple of days ago but got sidetracked by trying to finish Wukong and the art direction and general atmosphere is top notch, got the game for cheap and out of pure curiosity but I got actually surprised by it

Going from M/F to Type A/B was a proactive move. Like people at these companies (and, it was, I believe, Ubisoft, who did it first, or at least it was when I first noticed it, in Division 2) made the decision to get rid of male/female and make it type A/B. Then people at other companies made the decision to follow along to the point where it was basically in every game.

Saying "this is dumb, change it back" is not the same as actually working in these companies and pushing for this change because DEI is at the heart of everything you do.
