Lords of the Fallen Devs will swap Type A/B to Male/Female in next patch

Im glad they are doing it. My 3 year old was confused by the type A and B nonsense, clearly pointing out to me that one is female and the other is male. Children have more sense than some of the adults on here. It's like trying to gaslight a child into believing the colours they see aren't actually that they see. It may seem harmful but it just feeds into the constant lowering of IQ, which is dropping.

The funny part of the A/B thing is it is so often nothing more than a text swap that only affects the initial choice and the character stats screen.

When I did a quick Google for the comic I referenced earlier ITT all I found was complaint posts on trans reddits because it's doesn't make a difference. The example I remember is Elden Ring, where someone chose body type A and the very next cutscene said "We found him".

Really the A/B thing isn't fooling anyone that's for or against this stuff and the only reason devs do it is because it was extremely low effort, so dropping it would simply be more honest.

I thought it was pretty average looking\decent at best for an ue5 game even maxed out on pc at 4k tbh.

Robocop looks much better for a budget AA ue5 game imo.

Game is aight, it does exploration and level design pretty well but combat and bosses are hit and miss.

I didn't have a conversation about it with him. I find it hard to believe that children you knew, including yourselves couldn't even talk it seems at 3. If I show my son who is admittedly closer to 4 a girls toy in a shop. He will say I am not playing that, there is a girl on the box. Yes, he does like watching me play and he likes to be a boy character and he will say that's a boy not type A. People don't have children anymore so I guess nobody knows anymore what children are like. It's quite sad.

After years of multiple devs pushing this shit and nobody saying nothing .. one guy decides to push the other way and he should immediately just shut up because is maybe just virtue-signal ?

Nah... let him talk.. he probably never wanted this shit in his game and did because of fear of backlash .. the industry was corrupted and he was playing the game. .. now the game is over and he wants back to normal. Really dont care if its virtue-signal or not.

I don't know on PC but man, on the PS5 Pro it really is one of the best looking games available, image is now crisp, detail level is mighty good and the framerate is finally 60fps solid and while it might not be on Demon's souls remake level, it's much bigger in scope so...

I'm really surprised by it in the state it's in now, I know that it looked and ran like shite when it came out but after a year, it's come a long way, they really did put some work in it.

Which brings me to : never buy games on day 1 😉

More companies should ask their actual customers what they think, instead of trying to force them to see that their way is the only way. Games are supposed to sell copies, you won't get any money if some journo or twitter person applauds you for being bold & progressive.

But companies that want to compete on global market probably thought that going more into woke direction will make their games more appealing to western players. Turns out, it's only appealing to western media, gamers reject this shit.

Some people are seemingly determined to make this a negative outcome. I see it as a developer listening to customer feed back and acting on it - because that's exactly what it is. It's good to see and many people are happy about it. Hopefully, we'll see more of this in the future.
