Dat PSP bomba
So close Vita, so close.
Still, a valiant attempt from the plucky underdog.
A staggering increase for the XB1, nearly overtook the Vita TV.
Good for Captain Toad.
Glad that WiiU could get above the PS4 too, even if those are pretty bad numbers considering the season.

Which hopefully will keep on selling as evergreen titles. It's been out for 2 years and all of it's biggest heavy hitters released.
Decent start for Final Fantasy Explorers, kind of surprising that it sold more than Phantasy Star Novas current lifetime sales in retail. Kind of sad for Sega, since it seems they are one of the first victims of the seemingly eyeopening (pre)TGS conference (no further relevant 1st party support even from Japan). It was kind of surprising to see such a quick reaction, drop-off in sales compared to just a few months before.
PS4 a sharp decline, despite all the goodwill from 3rd party devs, it really seems that they really like to hurt themselves.
To think that just a few months ago it seemed impossible and you had to expect some very vehement reactions from loyal fans if you would suggest otherwise. We have really come a long way since than.
Yup but a decent stream f locally appealing content is needed too - that should see weekly baseline rise and improve steady rate of sale.PS4 needs FFXV badly.
I would guess that the platform choice is a good starting point to work from. What's the deal with Phantasy Star Nova? Bad timing? Lack of interest? Sega's incompetence??
Didn't expect more than 100k for a low effort title like FF Explorers, guess they had luck because of the holiday season and no one else releases these type of games on the system.

Square Enix must been pretty frustrated with the Final Fantasy Explorers sales. 160k may be a decent number for your every-day title, but for what they were trying to achieve with Explorers, I don't know. Granted, the game seemed unpolished and impressions were pretty mixed from what I've read. It seems pretty likely that there's going to be a 'G' version, but as far as continuing with the sub-series goes, these numbers aren't very encouraging.
As for Shin Uchi, wow. Amazing second week performance. It may even surpass ORAS before the end of the year. I'm glad both for Level-5 and for what this means for Pokémon. Serious competition will be a great motivation for refreshing the franchise, especially in the wake of the 20th anniversary. And it sure needs it.

I would suggest that the addressable audience for Vita has shrunk this year but Freedom Wars did over 300K. I wonder what the drop off is to the next highest selling game this year is though.
3DS and all Nintendo games are doing good. The Wii U however has terrible sales, people were more interested in it last year when it didn't have Mario Kart and Smash Bros.?
With the exception of the aged 3DS that is carrying the entire industry on its shoulders, everything is pathetic both hardware and software-wise.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe had completely stopped selling after Summer, 20.000 units sold in the last 4 months (excluding this week where it sold 7.500).
Look on the positive side, at least it didnt do much worse than last year =)So close Vita, so close.
Still, a valiant attempt from the plucky underdog.
Week 1 2015 will be PS4's week.
Nintendo really needs to learn how to do price cuts on certain software. Eshop pricing is insane.
Freedom Wars launched before the dreams crushing (pre)TGS conference.

How? Not a single game release.
Holy shit at WiiU's YTD.
574k in the year it got its 2 biggest software titles. Thats insane.
You'll see.
