^that looks p good for great clips. better than i've ever got
how much do you guys pay at your barbershop? i'm looking for a nice place in Orlando, and there is a place called Liberty Barber Shop. It is $20 for a cut but you have to get there an hour or so before he opens to wait in line. Only one dude and he only has so many openings. Or you can make an appointment, but he'll only do that if you do it in person and pay upfront(and it costs $40 if you want an appointment). This is all a bit of a turnoff, but goddamn the cuts I see from people that walked out the one time i went to check it all out looked fantastic. the guy gives off some crazy misunderstood artist vibes, but i'm willing to put up with a lot of this bullshit if the haircut is great. just not sure if it is worth $40
I go to Liberty. I have been going there since it was $15 for a walk in. The place is great because he has the skills of a stylist with scissors, but can do razor shaves and fades unlike stylists in the area. I would forget walk ins here for a while, especially with how popular John has become. His apprentice will be charging $15 for walk ins and $25 for appointments when he starts in July.
Honeycomb is a great alternative from what I have heard.
It'd be so much easier if I could just call in and make an appointment with him. Cool that someone knows about it on here though. I'll probably just cave in and go one random week day morning
Pics?i literally just got the worst haircut i've ever gotten in like 3 years
i wanna cry

Yikes. That looks like crap. He went way too far into the middle of his head for the hard part. It looks like a pelon candy lmao.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M7vAYuA5lY
Am I thinking about it? Yup.
Problem is, hairdressers I go to, dont really take time with you, so I know it wouldn turn out how I would like.. :/

Going for a cut tomorrow and don't want to get the usual (2 on the sides, and about half off the top with scissors, literally what I say). I'm thinking of getting a low fade (1.5 clippers) and blending the top sides with scissors. I have a question about texture cuts on the top, should I be asking for this? and what does it really mean? My hair is thick as fuck and has way too much weight on it. It's hell to style. Below is a pic of my hair, fresh out the shower. Any tips on what I should do?
Note: Basically what I want.
Is your hair long enough?
Not as long as that dude in the the video. About 3 inches on top.

alright gaffer bros. Been letting my hair grow longer than usual so I have options when I go to get it cut.
Sides need to be trimmed/fixed for sure. I'm not sure if I should let the top grow a bit longer.
here's towel dried
I usually style my hair messy/spiky ala Ted Mosby. I've been experimenting with this though the past week or so
yay or nay?
I kind of want to do this style as well. My brethrens, I need your help!
Hair dryer, round brush, and matte product of your choice. I find that it looks less like I have product in my hair if I wash it directly before styling.guys, i've been wanting to get an undercut for me, something like this
but my hair doesn't curl totally back, getting only spiked, is there something i can do?
now i use this, but longer, with more volume:
sorry for the dirty mirror, lol.

What can I do?
Got pretty damn thin/fine straight blonde hair. W/ some mean cowlicks too. I can get it to look good with got 2 b glued but I don't like how hard it makes my hair.
the barber i went to today used layrite and now i need to buy this shit and replace it with my american crew. while the smell of american crew is fine, layrite literally smells like a cinnabon imo
I just recently got this done:
I'm really digging it. Only thing that sucks is that I'm pretty lousy at getting that height when I style my hair myself.. :S I've heard the trick is to blow dry but I guess I'm just not good enough at it?
Apply mousse then blow dry.
