About the trailer itself: Its hard to get universal appeal on this movie, and the "HEROES ARE BORN IN AMERICA" part doesnt help. I mean sure, its necessary, its the whole idea behind the character, but i wonder if they'll pull it off.

Cap was a shitty character for everyone else in the world during the beggining where he just fought commies for the heck of it. It was pretty stupid and filled with right wing propaganda. It became a more fleshed out character later on, even making some needed criticism to the idea of the character itself, etc.

I like the character, i like even more the chracters surrounding him though. I love the Red Skull and its the main reason im excited for the movie. I do like the emphasis on "stay who you are, a good man" before taking the super soldier serum, instead of just "FUCK YEAH AMERICA LETS KICK ASS!"

His name is Captain America. It's always going to be about America kicking ass. There can be depth there but if you don't want Patriotic self-masturbatory theatre then you shouldn't seen the movie.
