The main highlight for me is the colors and the resolution. It looks so much more vibrant and clear than before. Characters' faces and UI are also a nice upgrade over the Wii U version. Lin Lee got a huge improvement, and she no longer looks like a creepy doll.

The girl with the alien face was more cute.

The sad part is that’s actually an improvement over the original. Xeno series has some derpy looking characters. Hence the term “Xenoface”

I was more surprise of Wii U doing all this. Just a taste for people with poor memory that specs means nothing if you have interess and a group of devs more focus in the game than any other bs.

Yeah it’s a massive game. It has shitloads of sidequests like the other Xenoblade games. Some are good and have a lot of story to them, others are your run of the mill fetch quests and you’ll probably skip them unless you’re just looking for something to do.

I'm actually holding off diving into Xenoblade series on Switch. I tried the 1 remaster, but looked too blurry and framerate looked pretty subpar...
Hoping Switch 2 will have good performance boost on these older titles.

Absolutely loved XC1, and I was more invested in XC2's story, maybe because I love anime girls with big boobies, lol.

There are multiplayer exclusive missions. It's structured kinda like MH. 4 players are in a room and then choose the mission.

That’s one of biggest issue with this game. I hate mission lock away behind online play. Even Monster Hunter 99% quests can be done solo.

In original WiiU I never tried mission because I thought they were MP exclusive.

I have to use the voucher soon since Switch 2 games aren't eligible. Let's say I have no idea whatsoever about the series, would this be a good point of entry, or should I get Xenoblade Chronicles 3? Is the overall gameplay close to FF12?

Xenoblade 3 is the single best game made for Switch. Having said that, you really need to have played 1 and 2 to fully appreciate it. Future Redeemed (the DLC prequel) is particularly good.

I think they should, they should let bring your party AI which spend time leveling to those quests.

That way would fun for people like me who are not in to MP.
