Nolan's next film is about an advanced helicopter action film

Hang on, I'VE GOT IT!!!

It will be based on that old laserdisc COBRA COMMAND video game, but it's meta so the pilot keeps dying and has to "live, die, repeat" to win!!

There is even a sequence set in NYC in the game!

I can actually emulate this game and it is still hard as fuck!

Have you seen Tenet?

He went full Nolan with that one. I enjoyed it for what it was, but after 5 viewing and dozens of youtube CG animations, i still have no idea what that movie was about.

You never go full Nolan. Hopefully this is more like Inception than Tenet.
I don't know what to tell you my man.

I've seen it (obviously :messenger_winking_tongue:) but I didn't really understand it fully during the first viewing. It clicked for me once I knew that the explosion at Stalsk-12 always was going to happen.

And I don't think going full Nolan is a bad thing, I love meaty movies and don't really mind if it hurts my brain.

But I would love another Inception type movie. More so than a Tenet type one.

Wait, so he's making a film about a helicopter action film? So is it a mockumentary or something but with more fart sniffing? Mainstream film on a massive budget about another film being made by a guy who thinks he's arthouse?

No. That's just the OP's bad grammar :messenger_tears_of_joy:

It can't be a remake of Blue Thunder.

Sony owns the movie and is working on their own reboot:

Prisoner remake is likely the film.

Nobody gives a shit about helicopters. This is smokescreen for Reddit nerd leakers. Appreciate Blue Thunder and Airwolf for what they were.

Maybe he'll do a Silver Spoons meets Alf remake next?

I wonder if he has seen 'Highwayman, ' a semi-truck with an inbuilt helicopter that can also go invisible. Many drugs were taken in the creation of this concept, no surprise it only lasted one season.

I've never heard about this show, but now I want to see it, even knowing it was short lived.

"Ok, but let's say that we do put the helicopter and the truck together, and get something we can drive around... What happens when it flies? That sounds difficult to do, I'm not sure we have the special effects budget, I know this must be disappointing and I'm really glad the ceo is getting family members to come forward with ideas but..."

"INVISIBLE. It can go invisible."

This actually sounds shit. Drones have already made helicopters obsolete apart from airlifting troops or emergencies.
Helicopters are used in war zones to this day. The conversation is there to have drones but the us army and navy use helicopters daily. They will get replaced by drones or I bet drones with begin to compliment the mission of piloted aircraft.

So we don't need any special effects, just some sounds, an air cannon to blow stuff around, and the actors react to nothing? GENIUS!!!!"

Kinda like the WW2 shows that could use stock footage, anything to stretch the dollar! I remember the OG Battlestar Galactica, they had about 4 minutes worth of scenes of miniature space battle stuff and they worked most of it into EVERY episode and it was glorious!
