They also pretty much won February 2014 since it was so close. It was a moral victory.
What about that 0.9K Xbox 360 victory in April 2008?
Any news yet?
If there were news, there would be an NPD thread.

We are committed to making Xbox the best place to play, with this years best games, the best community of gamers to play with, and terrific value. And we are amazed by the excitement Xbox fans have shown to start off this holiday. November set a new record for sales of Xbox One, and Xbox One was the best-selling console in the US and UK.* Response to the holiday lineup of games on Xbox One was incredible, with Xbox One fans buying more games in November in the U.S. than any other gen eight platform and enjoying over 357 million hours of gameplay globally. In fact, more fans logged into Xbox Live across Xbox One and Xbox 360, and enjoyed more entertainment, than any other month in the history of Xbox. We love to see the excitement from our fans and are grateful for their passion, support and contributions to the Xbox community. Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President, Xbox Marketing.

Ms may have sold slot of numbers but when you have basically a firesale on your products you better have a solid follow up plan. Like sell a shitload of software
Razor thin profit margins or losses are not ideal.Yes, MS lost money on X1s last month but this isn't about winning a month's NPDs, it's about saving the platform. The losses they took in November would pale in comparison to the losses they would incur in the long run if they didn't kickstart the X1 into relevance. Small install base = small income. The console business has traditionally been a razor/razorblade affair so I don't know why people suddenly act as if there is anything wrong with doing this.

As a medical student, lmao at that auto correct.

I'm actually curious now. According so some websites, MS with the Kinect was only making maybe $30+ per system sold. That's back in 2013.
If you factor in the price drop + the game give aways, what's the probability MS lost a ton of money in November? Seems crazy to think how much money it would be.
