Still I can say I’m fucking disappointed with it. Because I have one and you don’t

You know you want to

to you obviously. My thoughts: a dildo is probably more useful.
Stellar Blade looks and runs far better.
I'm about to go try some VR and a few titles but I wanted to see what the thoughts are.
- Any games you played that blew you away yet?

I saw your comment on this before and honestly this is thread-worthy or at least a bump to an old Portal thread. I haven't tried yet but I will later. The main benefits I see, for me, is the performance boosts and higher IQ and improved graphics for performance modes that are ideal for Remote Play on Portal.
Since most of my playtime will be on Portal, this might arguably be the biggest pro for the Pro.

Also, you didn't put the disc drive feet on your Pro, right?
Don't feel bad, someone else just had this mistake in another thread. I'm sure many more willI didn't check under the latch at the bottom and I own that I'm a retarded human being. I couldn't figure it out until a friend told me there's two sets of feet.
Cheap packaging and overall poor package ie lack of vertical stand, cheap horizontal stands, cheap feeling cables, none of it screamed premium, this already gave me a poor impression then after initial setup, it says welcome to PS5, no mention of Pro in any of the software, none of the games have an enhanced label/icon on the home screen, the majority of games give us no indication of what the enhancements are, it all just gives an impression that they want to charge flagship prices, but not offer a flagship device.
Then I load a game, the fan is noisier than my launch PS5, it's not LOUD like a PS4 or PS4 Pro but it's loud, it's like my PC at idle, but that's full of fans and has a 16 core 24 thread CPU and a 4090 in it, i shouldn't be hearing my console in 2024 especially when it cost me the equivalent of $908 USD, then Fortnite runs worse than my launch PS5 in the 120hz mode, Fifa gives me 60fps menus and cut scenes but the exact same gameplay, it's all just very shit if i'm honest, whatever, it means my eldest daughter can have my launch PS5 and I can pass the Xbox One X she currently uses to my nephew, after the absolute shit the PS4 Pro was in terms of noise I'll never jump on a mid gen refresh again.
That’s one thing that I will say Sony have been lacking in; their console packaging presentation has never been that great imo.Cheap packaging and overall poor package ie lack of vertical stand, cheap horizontal stands, cheap feeling cables, none of it screamed premium,
This is what i was afraid of TBH.....im hoping this isn't the case with all of them. My PS4 Pro back in the day turned into a 747 taking off with certain games (No Mans Sky as an example) that i got to the point where it was very distracting anytime i heard it.
dualsense up the buttMy thoughts: a dildo is probably more useful.
It's widely available at all of my local GameStops and I can get $275 for trading in my regular model.
Tempting.
Savvy scalpers bought up the drive supply a month ago. Sony would be wise to trickle those out.<--------Here
F******s couldn't provide one single disc drive for launch.
I have preordered from two different retailers. No one could deliver a drive.
Checked two electronic stores. Zero Drives from Sony. Called Media Markt no disc drives for release.
Either try some of those Amazon ones and hope they work with the Pro or wait until they start making them specifically. The ones out now will probably be for the slimSo, what are my options here ? Need a horizontal stand that has some grip and the ones I've seen on Amazon are the usual bullshit ski ones ...

The main thing with the PS4 Pro for me wasn’t even the fan noise, that I eventually started to expect whenever I’d play something graphically intensive. What really tripped me up was the plastic quality that was used for the console, where it would always creak as it heated up, and did so again once it cooled down. Great console overall, but compared to my One X, which felt like a $500 product… Was rather cheaply made.Honestly, mine was too loud to hear the game without headphones, my son's was so loud we could hear it downstairs when he was in a game, it was ridiculously noisy, he mainly played Black Ops 3 at the time.

That's what I've said. The graphically leap from PS4 to PS5 hasn't been as crazy (some outliers for sure) but the lack of fan noise? Load times? Its amazing. I can't even go back to some old crap over it.The main thing with the PS4 Pro for me wasn’t even the fan noise, that I eventually started to expect whenever I’d play something graphically intensive. Me too! I’m pretty disappointed that I have a top of a line pc that I paid over 4x more for and and this plays some games better.Disappointed but I have a top of the line PC so it was expected.

AFeels absolutely worth 200$ over base console.
It's about just as quiet, setup went smoothly and most games I've tried run great.
Biggest step up are re4 remake, dragons dogma2 and rebirth so far
