Is it weird to consider 85k for Wii U pretty decent?
If MS doesn't say specially the sales are Xbone only then we can assume it's both
Holy crap?! BD charting?
360 sold 114,000 units?!?
...
...ok, if there are other datas confirming these jumps, then we can say that that the weather conditions were the main factor last month.
Titanfall came out 11 days into March.
When did the pre-orders for the TF bundle start? If anything TF probably cut into their February sales.
But software was down 11%.
I'm not quite sure what this means?
He's only an expert on Japanese heatwaves though.we need our meteorologist, Joe to confirm this
So DK did good?
Nothing wrong with family friendly games.
It did in Japan and I believe it will in the west. It's been charting high on Amazon for quite some time now where as LR was only up there for a short amount of time and then dropped off quickly.
It's gonna be a long generation for PS4 fans, Xbox One just has no quit and will probably still be finding it affordable to buy more exclusives.
Not bad for February!

I was of the opinion that MS couldn't win march. I am now recalibrating that opinion.
If that headline software list is multi format, why does it show minecraft as 360 only, when it's on PS3 as well? Is minecraft not available as a download card in retail stores in the US yet?

Said it once and I'll say it again. Xbone will win March.
Say what you will about TF, the marketing on that game alone has been through the fucking roof.
Apart from Wii U, isn't it a good thing the new two have done well ?
Lightning sold better than I expected. I haven't played the game so I won't judge but I was sort of hoping for BD to outsell it for hilarity.
Also, I pointed this out in the other thread: LEGO the Movie the game sold better on Wii U than PS4 or Xbox One.
We will see in March. PS4 supply has been greatly improved this month.
no. the whole ps4 surpass 6 million thread was when it was official.

After these results, if Xbox One doesn't beat PS4 in March, it's pretty much epic fail for Microsoft.we need our meteorologist, Joe to confirm this
Dont be so sure now, seem Sony increase the supply by a big amount this month.Kept saying it; when Titanfall arrives the "war" shifts. March is in Microsoft's pocket. The PR from MS come the March NPD will stink to high heaven of "look how awesome we are".
Basically everything jumped up, except the PS4 (which was heavely supply constrained).
March is gonna be epic. XBO is going to do good, but the PS4 is in total beast mode. Imo it's all in Sony hands, if they are able to ship enough units they will win.
Well, there are two factors here.
1. In japan, LR outsold FFX HD on PS3 but FFXHD ended up selling more because Vita sold 120k+ (from media charts). The difference between the two was only around 100k overall.
2. LR received a nice boost here thanks to the 360 version. Can the Vita version in the US market make up for that? I have doubts unfortunately
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which sold more than 130,000 combined physical and digital units in its first eight days on the market.
Hardware:
PS4: 258,000 / 0.9 = 286.7K
Xbox One: 258K
Xbox 360: 114K
Wii U: Nearly 82.5K (+~25%)
