To be fair, weren't all of those games (except Uncharted, which was ok) pretty terrible iterations in their series? Not sure if that was going to make a difference, but I thought the CoD & AC reviews were pretty terrible (esp. CoD).
Call of Duty was terrible, 33 on GameRankings, Uncharted like you say was quite decent (81). Wipeout, FIFA, Killzone and AC all had 70+ games release on the system. There was also a bunch of not so good franchises.
However, the terrible games sold terribly even for being terrible games. And the better games also sold poorly despite being better.
You can project a range of what a good game might sell if you know what the bad games are selling. Sales were basically universally poor. And why dump $10 or $20 million on a Vita development if there's little chance of making a decent return? What's telling is how few pubs gave the Vita a second chance on the big franchises.
If there were 90+ rated games on the system perhaps it could have gained momentum, built a bigger base and then have that trickle down to SW sales. Unfortunately, that never happened.
