How can it be deceptive if in the few first few sentaces they say "Sold in to retailers". How is that deceptive if they are saying it that they sold 5mil lifetime to retailers?

In just a couple of months Sony will have sold twice as many next gen consoles as MS. And there's not much MS can do about it since the Xbox One is dead in most of Europe.

My money is nothing official before E3. they will continue with the bundles and then make a bigger splash at E3 with an official price drop. I feel pretty confident that an official price cut is gonna happen this E3.

I’m about 60/40 thinking on whether MS drops Kinect for one version of the box. I wouldn’t bet a lot of money on it, but I think there’s a slightly better than 50% chance it will happen before Xmas this year.

The media certainly went overboard hyping Titanfall. I'm actually shocked gamers didn't fall for it.

They hyped it to high heavens, but only people who seemed to care enough to fork out money were existing Xbox One owners.

It does showcase just how little E3 awards, hype, enthusiast gaming media means. The game barely exists in the conciseness of most normal people out there. Yet in our little gaming world its the biggest game release since GTA5, its certainly been billed that way.

so February:
258k/4 = 64.5k per week.
and March:
311k/5 = 62.2k per week.

This topic is incredibly fun but I have to point something out being a GAF watcher for many years.

PlayStation family and Xbox family. It's funny that both companies have used the same exact spin.

Shipped to retailers = Sold. Again, both companies have used the same spin. It's funny to watch people say it's a bad thing when the other team does it.

And here's the one I've been waiting to mention...

How do we know the Sony numbers are legit? I'm not talking about NPD, but their WW numbers. Back in October 2013 we were told that Sony would be combining PS3 and PS4 numbers as they did with the PS3 and the PS2 for several years. (Source)

And that's just the thing, they don't sort them out elsewhere. In their recent financial reports its always a combined number. So how do we know they're telling the truth about their WW figures? There are no other sources.

Told you guys in the prediction thread that the possibility of PS4 won was good.

PS4 had weak NPD February number because Sony needed to ship 500k to Japan... now in March Japan received only 100k units and the others 400k was sent to US and EU.
