Wonder how close CoD was. I doubt the PS4 CoD bundle moved all that much.

Actually. Correcting myself...did PS4 > Xbone accounting for COD bundles? I think Destiny had the same breakdown in SKUs when it launched due to people buying the white LE console.

PS4 with an ~85% YOY increase. Huge numbers.
Need for Speed outdid Halo, too - remember, it was only out for like 3 days in last month's. Microsoft's first party lineup is in major trouble.

I believe it was indicated that it isn't even in top 20. Unless that was corrected later.
Thats why i said "one really" 360 doesnt really count. Those sales wont have a impact i think.

They are dominating not only in hardware sales but also in software sales.
All the biggest games are selling more on PS4 (except for COD but that can be explained with bundled copies not included in the chart and COD historically being a strong Xbox franchise).
Tomb Raider is a total bomba.
Halo 5 outsold by a mediocre Need for Speed....ouch.
Fallout 4 was a wasted partnership for Microsoft, they could have done much more with that game but similarly to what happened with other RPGs like Dragon's Age and Witcher where they had the marketing deals the games ended up selling more on PS4.
Btw this holiday season is proving that people buy consoles in this period to play the biggest multiplatform games on the console with the best value and that's pretty much it.

PS4 did phenomenal numbers in November. It's fair to say the $50 reduction played a role in the huge increase in sales.
Eager to find out the sales numbers for Tomb Raider. With people saying their store sold zero copies, you have to wonder if it did better or worse than NBA Live.

If cutoffs end up being the same as last year, TR could have released on both consoles and still missed out. It has never been a dominant franchise in the US.

I mean, I knew things would be dire for TR going in, and the UK results sealed its fate, but at least I heard people talk about it--which is more than I can say for Need for Speed. Just ouch.

Another (anecdotal) nail in the coffin of "exclusive marketing = better sales".
Microsoft had Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 this year, both of which sold better on PS4. Sony had Call of Duty which is selling better on Xbox One.
Of course, not including bundles, but....
