Bundles don't get counted in the main sku.
It's not a hardware bundle but yeah, I guess the Saga Bundle was probably it's own thing. The platform breakdown makes more sense then since I'm sure the Saga Bundle sold well.

Microsoft is totally going to win October though.
X1 isn't up in sale though. PR did its job though I guess. The power of the comma strikes again.
Wow, Disney Infinity makes the list but Skylanders and LEGO don't! That's crazy, the Star Wars thirst is real!
It also helps that DI was pretty cheap this year.
Forza?
Wait but Destiny bundles are not counted lolBut those destiny fanboys told me it would outsell MGSV #zzzzzzz
PS4 wins again, gg Sony.
Uncharted Collection didn't chart though.
40% higher hardware and yet software continues to lag behind last gen.
Am I wrong, or is that a bad trend?

Doesn't seem great for MGS V

I guess Metal Gear ain't that popular.
And FFXVI hope.
Certainly digital purchases are only increasing and not considered here.40% higher hardware and yet software continues to lag behind last gen.

I don't see Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 in the top ten, so I'm really curious how that did.
It's ok. You can't force people to buy games no matter how great they are. The good news is it still exceeded expectations and a sequel is being considered!Until Dawn?
BTW MGSV did way worst than I expected.

More people moving over to the digital side of things I'd garner.
A lot of those "lost" software sales have moved to digital purchases, I would guess. They are just counted as a loss for NPD.
Most impressive -> NPD: "for 8th generation software, NBA 2K16 had the best launch month ever for any Sports game" $TTWO
After 23 months on the market, combined PS4 and Xbox One sales are 40 percent higher than the combined 23 month totals for PS3 and 360

IMO that's May, right after UC4 in March. Fall will be Horizon, Destiny *insert PSX reveal game here*

Nirolak, looks like everything is down.
NPD becomes more irrelevant every month as it doesn't track digital and you can bet your ass most of Taken Kings were digital.
40%, though? I wish we had the numbers.
At this point (of install bases), shouldn't the PS4 and Xbox1 versions of Disney and similar games outsell the Wii U version?
not praising the wii u or anything (lol), it was just the only surprising thing to me on the charts so far.
