Drive club is a fantastic game with all the updates, it's a demanding racing game if you turn off all the assists and activate the realistic driving toggle. I don't think we will see a remaster though, and I'm ready sad about it, evolution studio is closed and what's the point of bringing a racing game focused on presenting "hyper realism" aesthetics with cars from 2014... It doesn't make sense business wise. In order to add new cars you end up on a sequel which is even more unlikely.

Motorstorm remaster would be better. Not only are there no licenses to worry about (that I am aware of) but it’s less likely to bleed into GT7 territory and unlike #Driveclub, Motorstorm was actually a good racing game.

I didn't like you before.....but I do now.Forget about Bloodborne remaster, Driveclub is the real deal… I know that a lot of people doesn’t like the game, but now that Sony are the remasters masters and is my favorite racing game ever… also…

That game is never coming back. Its been completely delisted and you can't even buy the dlc anymore. It's a shame since the weather tech they used is super impressive and would work great in GT7.

I played this game to shit in a sim wheel set up.
Did some record breaking WR shit on the Pagani Zonda too on several maps.
I like it above GT 7 or any other racing game tbh.

Okay missed ur joke on that one, never take the time to click on profiles etc. should have seen the joke in it glad to see someone else with the appreciation for the game. Another note haven't put any time into a F1 game since F1 championship edition another masterpiece ahead of it's time.

well i am not the biggest fan of f1 games tried my best but the community is amazing.
Like I say haven't played since championship edition I believe same studio was behind it under different name and that's not using Google I could be wrong.

There's only been two racing games in the last 11 years that has me over hooked for over 200 hours and they're both PS exclusives. One is GT7 since Mar 2022 and the other is beloved DriveClub from 2014, the only game that features tracks near my hometown of Coimbatore in India.

Which probably didn't make back the budget the game had or it's continuing support, which is why Sony closed Evolution Studios
Sony gave Evolution a lot of time and money and Evolution refused to make racing games which ran at 60 fps after like 4 attempts so Sony gave them the axe

The problem with racing games in general are the licenses. And those cars are old by now. You also won't be able to boot up any PGR game on Series X.

First part is sadly true, second part is nonsense. I always played Driveclub offline and had tons of fun with the game. Despite the developers' focus on the online aspect PR-wise, it was a fully functional game without it.
I guess games are like some artists now. Games suffer from the "death effect" too it seems. Where nobody gives a shit about The Order 1886 and Driveclub when they're actually alive but everybody goes bananas about it when it's dead. Let's call the phenomenon "the twenty-7/10 Club". If you know the phenomenon in the music industry it would make sense.
