How far away from the headset is this "little on/off box"?
It's not far down the headset cable. About chest level.

As in PS official wireless headset? So you can use wireless wired too? Does that still give the 3D audio?
Sorry I'm a noob with headphone tech.

They are all the same.I want to ask something, my friend just bought a PS VR and he can't find any PS move for PS4 ( sold out everywhere ) Can he buy the PS3 PS move, are they identical or should he wait for the PS4 one ?

With the headset on it rests at about armpit level, maybe a little lower.

Ah CEX.. £500 for the headset. On the positive side they'll give you £420 cash for it. Didn't think stocks were that low to justify the markup
In my normal living room setup, I have large south facing windows to the right if I'm facing the TV - will that screw up tracking? My only other reference is my vive but that (a) uses lasers, and (b) is in a naturally more shaded room on the other side of the house.
I'm using the Gold Wireless Headset with one of these:

It's awesome because the cable is of a perfect length so you don't even notice it, plus the headphones don't need battery when running 3D sound.
Highly recommended
What is this cable called?
I just NEED a full game of that Playroom platformer. So amazing. Feels great to play and shows perfectly the potential for hidden things and new gameplay VR can bring to any genre. I wish I had figured out how tothough, must have missed something obvious.move the propeller platform
Oh yeah I wish they ported over Sports Champions or made a new one or something.

Camera control is taken away from the player at times. Like when you lean in and open the cooking pot. Big no no.No unfrotunately just kitchen for now. Yeah it's been shown at trade shows, but apparently that demo needs some serious tweaking for nausea purposes atm. I might be making this up, but I could've sworn they had hinted at bringing a patch to the demo to test it.
Sports Champions VR NEEDS to happen! That was one of my favorite things on PS3...Oh yeah I wish they ported over Sports Champions or made a new one or something.
Sports Bar VR is a bit rough. The tracking just isn't working for me, but I think it might just be standing experiences in general for me because Job Simulator is terrible too and I don't have a stand to mount the camera about the TV.
I did have one of the most intense, real games of air hockey against the computer though. Holy shit.
Overall it feels like a game built for the Vive but without proper room scale it falls a bit short. Messing about trying to move around the space is more difficult than it should be and I couldn't for the life of me work out how to hit the cue on the pool table properly.
Still there's something to it and there's nothing else like it on PSVR.
Also, where's the OT?

I desperately wanted that before trying out a PSVR. Now I'm wondering if the tracking issues would make it much less fun to play. On PS3, playing regular Move games, everything worked perfectly. Things are quite finicky on PSVR in comparison.
I just imagine trying to play disc golf and the hand I'm throwing from is moving back and forth and jittering when I'm trying to aim.

My Ps4 pro is pre-ordered. I am finding a lack of information on it's enhancements for PS VR. Does anyone know what it will do? Will it improve graphics?
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes was so, so fun. We played for like 2 hours straight without realizing it.
Now that PSVR is out they will start the marketing machine for PS4Pro for sure.My Ps4 pro is pre-ordered. I am finding a lack of information on it's enhancements for PS VR. Does anyone know what it will do? Will it improve graphics?

Good to hear. I had no trouble sitting the first night pointed at my projector. Last night I played some standing games so I turned the projector off because I thought I'd lose tracking. I want to be able to keep it on when I start showing friends this thing.A few people have been a bit curious about this so I can chime in here:
I have had no issues with using PSVR while sitting in front of my projector. I was a bit worried this might be a thing considering there is a big bright light pointed in the same direction the camera faces.
I have a 100" screen, and when sitting ~5 feet away from the screen, it is a near match for putting on the HMD in medium view.
Is that the game that they played on Game Grumps a while back?
Probably. I haven't watched GG in a while but one person has the headset on and can see the bomb while the other person uses the TV screen to read the manual.
It is SO fun and would be an incredible drinking game.

Batman does look great. I'm talking about the actual resolution the PSVR unit can run. It's a far cry from native 1080p or 4K tvs. Everything in every game I have played looks like those sub 720p games of last gen. Maybe all the games and demos I have played are not running at the resolution the headset can provide but even the PlayStation menu is noticeably lower resolution. All I was saying is I expected a drop in resolution but what I didn't anticipate was a nose dive. Why so bad? is it the graphics or the actual hardware?
By all report Batman looks great and DC looks bad.
Just went into game to get my preorder deposit refunded as I'm going to bee too busy with work and two final fantasy games over the next few months to make use of psvr. Wish I'd known this beforehand!! Assumed I wouldn't get a profit as its not sold out.

Are you outside of the US? That demo has it and quite a bit more demos. Is there a demo for Thumper that you can download? In Aus and it's not on the disc. On that note, is there a reason for the different demo discs across regions?
Protip: play Dariusburst Chronicle in Arcade mode in Cinematic Large on PSVR.
You're welcome.
