I did it. My life is now complete. 1000 drowzee caught.
;__;

And obviously, it was a trash tier 306cp one.

Damn, I'm slacking. Only 600 Magikarp caught.
That is a pretty absurd number of any pokemon to capture. Like, unless you did all your catching at the same place, Drowzee must be the most common pokemon everywhere you go.
Meanwhile, I am apparently an expert at avoiding Drowzee, the fifth or so most common pokemon in the WORLD. On my way to 142, Hypno was the third to last pokemon I got. And that was by catching a Hypno. I still don't have enough candy to evolve a Drowzee.
Nothing very interesting was caught, though there were an awful lot of Gloom sightings for some reason. I also hatched three 5K eggs. I'm getting sick and tired of hatching Krabby, but two Poliwag was a nice surprise. Just 24 candies away from a Poliwrath!
Zen headbutt and solar beam are good for an exeggutor, right?
Mud Shot + Ice Punch incoming. ._.
reminding me of my failure
I got 3 of these guys, no bubble and hydro pump yet, but I got bubble/submission and mud shot/hydro pump... the former is good for gym defense, latter for attack, bUT they are still outclassed by bubble and pump...fuck :/
What level would you guys recommend evolving a Magikarp? I'm right at level 22 and the highest Magikarp I have is 134. I can easily catch more if I need to, I have two nests nearby.
It wouldn't matter at what trainer level you evolve your Pokemon because your Magikarp's level and IV will predetermine how how high it'll go, which is Magikarp's current level and much higher CP unless things have changed. What level would you guys recommend evolving a Magikarp? I think I've seen more Hypnos than you did Drowzees. I sometimes see upwards of 3 Hypnos per day.
2 10k eggs turning into eevee. Someone end my suffering.
So I got 15/15/8 Flareon with the correct move set. Is that 7 stamina IV that important in gym battle?
Any kind soul out there have the updated password?
It's true that the correct moveset is more important. But nothing prevents Niantic from fixing the combat at a later time. They have done that with Ingress. So, I'd still focus on trying to get the highest IV with the correct moveset. To be honest, IVs dont really matter much. Getting the correct move set is way more important. U lose like that, 5 or 6 HP at max? They had a nice thread on the Silph Road Reddit about it. It's fun for min-maxers to find a perfect IV mon though.
I still think they are going to sell "TMs" in the shop which will allow you to change a Pokémon's moves
so, this one has Will Braun and Johnny Rapid. I never watched one of these parodies before, but that's a good way to convince me. lulzIn Pokemon Go news, a SECOND gay porn parody is cumming soon. Spoiler tagged image below is SFW but highly crude and also hilarious. Gotta f*** 'em all!
How does nearby work now? I've been out of the loop for a while now, will have to check again.Instead of waiting for someone to give it to you, why not use that time and create and donate an account? Assuming you are talking about nearby... It's only fair...

Imagine how people with a Twister Gyarados feels like after dumping 400 candies on a Magikarp.
So apparently someone just discovered that you can swipe up during battle to bring up a menu to swap pokemon in the middle of a fight. I still haven't tried it yet but this does seem like a decent shakeup for battle strategy. What's more, apparently this has been a thing since the beginning. Typical Niantic.
I thought the thing that was new was the discovery that you can swipe up to get that menu, but it's always been accessible using a button in the bottom right, just above the run button.
Could someone pls. link me to the chart with the attack defense moveset chart. Can't find it anymore. Thx
Edit: Level 22 btw. saved all my stardust, dont know which pokemon to evolve and if i should power them up. Still waiting for a 1000 cp +.
