Uninvited (nes version) has nothing to do with *SWEET HOME ALABAMA* like, can't going out of your way to rescue your oneesan, just be platonic? "Looks at legions of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 doujinshi"

Sony does not have a single FPS that's as good as Halo, Ratchet and Clank is the closest thing, but that's more emphasis on the in being mixed with platforming.

Conker's Bfd was not funny in anyway, blood and gore in a cartoon animal game is actually incredibly disturbing 0_0

I hate the comparison of which VR is better. VR is the arcade that current gen gamers never went to until now. So don’t mind me if I’m not buying a VR unit. I went to the arcades years ago. I don’t want to try before I buy either. I’ve felt that very same innovation years ago and I still preferred to go home to a controller.

Please don’t excuse any anti-social behavior with VR. It makes it sound like you can only relate video games to a younger generation or that you’re ashamed of the hobby. Enough of my rant.

Almost every RPG I've played are boring. As a result I've never finished a single Zelda game and I've never played a single Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, or Witcher game. Nor do I have any desire to.
I also thought like this until i played DOS2. Realized i was merely playing the wrong RPGs

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 music sucks because it neglected all the character themes. I dont care about I wanna take you for a ride....
Capcom vs SNK 2 is far better

The generation will be decided by...

Factions II, Guerilla Games multiplayer project, Arrowhead Studios game.

vs.

Halo Infinite multiplayer, Perfect Dark Reboot, EverWild.

If one of those six games blows up, we can crown the victor.

Abby's sections were infinitely better than Ellies.
I mean, if we ignore the story you're not wrong.
We're basically playing as a living war tank female Chirs Redfield that goes around stomping on zombies heads just a bit short of screaming "ABBY SMASH"
Meanwhile we have dumb emo Ellie and co doing dumb emo things.

If Microsoft got the marketing rights for Call of Duty, they’d win the console war by a landslide. Even if the XSX wins the popular vote, just like the Xbox 360 did, the PS5 will still outsell it. I believe the Call of Duty fan-base has a big affect on which way the sales pendulum swings.

Xenoblade chronicles is a mediocre JRPG with bad gameplay, filled with boring and low quality MMO type side quests. The series also caters to the typical weeb virgins and is filled with "waifus". I did like the story though,
was cool you could've become a god in the end, etc
The open world areas were also too empty and every item was a blue orb.

And I played the Definitive edition on Switch, can't imagine how much it had to suck on Wii....

I'm still going to play Xenblade Chronicles 2 though, want to give it a chance but my expectations are very low.

I enjoy every type of console & system. Never felt strongly towards one over the other. I've switched generations before on a whim. I moved from 360 to PS3 just because I was having terrible luck with 360 consoles. Loved my time with it playing Halo, but the free multiplayer and having bad luck made PS3 appealing at the time.

I currently own a PS4 but would consider buying a Switch or Series S in the future. PS5 is my priority at the moment just because this account has a lot of history to it, and all my friends are on Playstation right now.

I think PC Gaming is awesome, and wish I had a better PC to play on. Perhaps in the future I'd be able to upgrade it.

So yeah, I'm pretty chill in that aspect.

I still don't get the appeal of the new consoles. They'll get better as time passes, maybe, probably, hopefully. But right now it's smoke and promises,I don't understand why people want one so bad except for the novelty dopamine rush.

I think it's easier to stay on last generation for now this time around. When the PS4/Xbox One dropped you could quite clearly see how bad the graphics were on the older consoles. The PS4 is still pumping out quality graphical experiences, Ghost of Tsushima looks amazing for example. As someone who still plays in 1080P, these games still look great. Obviously PS5/Series X are much better, but these older consoles feel more much capable this time around.

They will eventually feel old, but I'm still happy for now.

You gotta give a lot of the credit to the mid-gen updates for how well last gen still holds up. I've seen Last of Us 2 running on a buddy's PS4 Pro: the FPS was gross and the cooling fan was spinning so loudly I'd have sworn it was right next to my ear.

As an owner of an RTX 2070 powered PC and a One S: the difference is very noticeable as well. That One S chugs booty on something like RDR2 or Assassins Creed Odyssey when compared to my PC, and even playing at 1080p as opposed to 1440p.

I'm not on the 4k train yet. I care way more about frame rate than resolution. I wear eyeglasses for a reason lol.

I'm intrigued to see where Xbox really goes with this new "Series" line. I don't think they're just gonna let Playstation wreck 'em again like they did last gen.

Absolutely. The Pro and One X has definitely bridged a nice gap, and will keep them relevant a lot longer. I have a Slim PS4, and it definitely gets louder now on certain games.

I think Microsoft have done far better this year. I like their approach to the affordable Series S as an alternative and they do a really good job with backwards compatibility and upgrading games. Game Pass is a steal too, I'm always jealous of that.

I think Series S will sell like hotcakes, it is the perfect gift for kids. Next-gen gaming that won't break the bank.

Like above, everytime I see the word "masterpiece" thrown around to describe a game I just cringe.

It's a critique that at this point - has been bent over and overly abused by the community to inflate video games. Mostly by people who don't know any better.

After a whole generation of games I did not enjoy from bethesda, ubisoft, and ea I no longer seriously consider any of their new games. Their best games tend to be remasters of games from the xbox360/ps3 era. Every single thread about assassins creed or the purchase of bethesda or the drama of bioware is eye rolling to me. They all suck now and don't deserve the press they get.

There's still tons of great games, but the first step to finding them is ignoring alot of these big shitty publishers.

Totally agree.
Every news from Ubisoft was a joy during original Xbox era... not anymore.
As for Bethesda, what are they even working on again?

I think my biggest controversial opinion is about Elder Scrolls and Fallout, I just can't get into these games. I've played tons of RPGs before and I just can't get into the combat of the games, Skyrim's combat is extreme garbage, mods can't save these games for me and I've tried multiple times to attempt to play them again. I much rather prefer combat like Witcher 3, with my most favorite being turn based. I really enjoyed FFXV's combat even though it's way more simpler than Elder Scrolls, FF7 Remakes combat is how I feel the FF should take with their next approach and with FF XVI's trailer, you can definitely see they're going for a DMC approach.

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most overrated titles ever.

Some call it a masterpiece when really it's a 6.5/10.

Sort of agree with this. Enjoy the game, but found it quite repetitive after a while. I felt like I already saw everything the game had to offer long before it was over. It's a good game with pretty graphics, but I wouldn't rank it highly among the exclusives.

Not to forget it also has one of the worst climaxes I've ever experienced, what was that final boss about!

I liked it much more after I've started playing it less "casually" and starting experimenting more with enemies' weaknesses and various weaponry. I also quite like the constant stealth context.

I'm also a sucker for nice looking rocks. And the rocks in Horizon are gorgeous.

Who really wanted a PS5 at launch just had to walk to a retailer and preorder it directly in a shop the day it was announced the release date instead of F5 web retailers.

OK here goes. I am a massive Nintendo fanboy. Fav consoles being NES/SNES. Since Nintendo decided to not take on the other 2 (basically from the Wii) I have lost so much respect for the big N.
I also cannot understand the fascination with the Switch. It has horrible graphics, games run below 30 FPS and in today's day and age when we are gaming at 4K (or thereabouts) this console can barely muster 1080P! Fuck Nintendo, I want to love you again. Give me a reason to love you again. Release a console that can take on the other 2 and really show what Metroid, Mario and an open world Zelda SHOULD look like FFS.

Most final fantasy games, and games in its extended universe (kingdom hearts, etc.) have intentionally abstruse stories standing in for depth, as well as generally unsatisfying gameplay, and it's a problem that gets worse as the series progresses.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is the best cod campaign and a fantastic sci fi shooter with character.
It is also better than titanfall 2 campaign which is overrated

Infinite Warfare wasn't bad. Was that the one with Kit Harrington and McGregor? I enjoyed it a lot actually. The trailer got heavily disliked, but the Campaign was solid. People just hated it because it was futuristic and the old school fans were fed up with it.

Yes. I was replaying all cod campaigns in the last month and this one is amazing.
Funnily enough ghosts is not bad and black ops3 story is interesting too. All are better than black ops 2 which was my fav... According to my memory
