Edit: I'm so close to buying the Red9 for it's power when dealing with the parasite heads. Think I'll wait for when I have some more money so I can upgrade it as well. Kind of need my money for a larger briefcase for one.

yes. you can just wait until the elevator gets there. its around 5 minutes. just run around and avoid his attacks.

I plan to plat trophy it so I will do 5 more play throughs. Hopefully it will be IQ fixed.
I can almost guarantee you it'll be patched the day after I finish the game, whenever that will be. I have a great track record of finishing games, moving on and suddenly badass patches hit.
You'll find more gems and treasure. I wouldn't worry about holding out for most optimal gems except for the 5 slot crown. Maybe the 4 slot as well if you don't have the deluxe edition treasure map.
Same here, I went to the wreck but didn't find it... maybe because I already had bought it? I remember finding something like a ruby, or some other precious stone on that boat.
You'll have a bunch leftover at the end of the game though it is wise to hold on to it for a while.

Yeah, you can just kite him around the centre of the room with the crates in it while you wait.
I missed that one. There is one in the Villiage , one in the Castle (which I found) and 1 on the Island I still need during Krauser . If you eat it ,it makes your overall health increase , but won't actually give any health refill. I can't confirm but I've seen online posts claiming better critical damage , maybe knife damage too . I'm sure we will find out sooner or later if true. But at the very least will raise overall health.
The extra treasures can be tough to notice without it. They’re high overhead in little lantern looking things that make slight creaking sounds as the move back and forth. Doesn’t change game balance significantly but you’ll get some extra gems and shooting gallery coins.
Oh I entirely misunderstood. I assumed the treasures where only in the game if you paid for the map!
You can buy the treasure maps for each level in the game with a currency you only get if you do side quests.
Parry is your friend. Crouch to avoid grabs. Shoot the head or knee to open up melee specials. Knife specials from behind w/ stealth or stagger prevent second phase plagas outbreak on regular enemies. Repair your knife and increase its durability since it’s breakable this time.
the bonus dlc treasure map does include treasure that can’t be gotten without purchasing it

LOL I didn't know you COULD kill him......I thought it was meant to be an unkillable boss so I didn't even try. Once he destroyed all the showers I figured that was the game telling me to just run.
