The big question is whether the "based" moderates will quietly go along with the lunatic fringe like their "woke" counterparts did, or show they've actually learned from history and cut the clown-show contingent off.

Right (although being burned alive was rare), but gay people still existed in medieval Bobemia.
I'm sure they have existed literally everywhere and through all of time. Social presentation or etc is the only question I'd think.

Anyone who says they "didn't exist" at any particular time, era, or culture surely must be suggesting it wasn't accepted or promoted in a given time, era, or culture. But if they are suggesting they literally did not exist before X time, that's pretty silly. And I'm sure some do suggest that, but just saying.

Agreed. We don't know (at least I don't know) how the developers are handling this. If it's historically accurate then no issue.

If however gay people are just socially accepted like today then that's historically inaccurate.

Wait and see, but I have no issue at the moment with a gay character in this game.

Same. It's all about presentation. If it's presented in manners such as KCD, I'm golden and will be there day 0. If I don't need to upgrade my GPU, that is.

Exactly. The first game let you handle that situation pretty well. You could roleplay it like you wanted...either medieval style or rather chilled. I am pretty sure it will be no different in KCD2. 🤷‍♂️

No, I am sure it’s going to be “Mandatory Unskippable Gay Sex” where Hans and Henry are going to be railing each other in the rear TLOU2 Abby style!

Saudi Arabia and morons on the internet said the devs are now woke so I have to believe!

My guess is a lord gets caught bumming someone and you have to decide to help get him off ( :messenger_sunglasses: ) or get him convicted.

Maybe they'll cut his cock off or something

It's not worth fighting over a scene with a gay guy. Gay people exist and always have done.

If the game had a trans character who was talking about their recent top surgery to a non-binary person then I'd get it. That would be immersion breaking in a historical game set in the medieval era. But a single scene with a gay person? No.

It's this sort of nonsense that makes the pendulum swing the other way. We need to get over this "woke" vs "chud" culture war bollocks and strive for balance.

the beauty of our movement is that we're not monolith, each of us is our own individual with our own opinion, in-fighting will happen, but we're free to speak our mind. there's not one voice/narrative that controls us

that's what makes us different than the wokes
