Wish I could offer you something, but the one-two punch of Xenoblade suddenly becoming readily available and my PlayStation Plus subscription renewing the same weekend (I should've paid more attention to the renewal date <_<) has kinda left me underwater.Just listed a bunch of Genesis stuff for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade thread. Figured I'd give folks here a heads up:

I was looking up 32x stuff and I was floored at how easy/cheap that stuff is. I will probably eventually pick up the following once I get a 32x:
There is a reason for that. The 32x and it's games are bad

Oh I know that whole thing. But still. I was expecting a complete Star Wars arcade to be way more rare/expensive than it is. That really is the one game that makes me want a 32x. Plus the video processor is much better on it.
Knuckles Chaotix and Kolibri both run around 50-60 bucks complete. But yeah, nothing quite as expensive as your Sega CD rares.
Edit: I lied. Blackthorne and DarXide are pretty expensive.

Arguable. Get rainbow banding more often on the Genesis, but also get brighter colors. Doesn't mater if you are running straight RGB of course, but that isn't an option for everyone.
Spiderman 32X is the most expensive one

Don't forget World Series Baseball. Honestly, there is only around 40 games released for it, in all regions.
Which is kind of amazing when you think about it because the thing didn't even last a full year. Went from November 94 to October 95.
Video linkAlso I just saw this on youtube last night, blew my mind. Someone's custom Genesis/32X/CD system. He made it out of a Saturn case. Ended up selling it for like $800. If Sega made something like this now, I'd totally buy it.

It even has component out in the back. The only thing its missing is a built in multitap.
So, i started a little project on tumblr: segaendings.tumblr.com
Basically, i'm keeping track and keeping a journal of sorts of me, trying to beat the entire library of Sega games (obviously, just the Mega Drive/CD/32X stuff). If any of you want to follow it, you're welcome to, if you want to watch me descend into madness.
You guys were right about the PS II guide. Stumbling around Shure, and the map is pretty accurate for the most part, but its already mislabeled a chest as having 20 meseta when it actually had 200, and mentions a chest with a shotgun...where none exists.

How are those wireless 6-button controllers actually? This is going to sound nuts, but I feel like I have a lot of trouble finding a 6-button controller that I actually find comfortable. The standard ones just feel a little small to me, causes cramps. A Sega-designed 6-button controller with the larger form factor of the 3-button controllers sounds great, IR be damned.
So what's the biggest stack that you can put on a Genesis and actually have it play?
I've done CD + 32X + Game Genie + S&K + S3 and it worked just fine. I think I've heard that if you have multiples of S&K that it just passes through? Is that true? Could you add S&K ad infinitum?
Got Dragon Ball Z (Portuguese 1st print)

So could a Portuguese mega drive play Japanese games with no extra help? Looks like the same shape as a JP cart.

HD DVD on the 360 was like the karaoke add on or whatever.
^agreed, i had an external for my wii that was hidden behind a shelf, in shame. people mock, but i love the tower of power the genesis made, design more add-ons uniformly like that!
So, I'm torn between buying a used MD1 or a new MD2. I've heard that there's image and sound differences between them, anything huge? I'm going to buy a RGB cable for it, is that going to negate or amplify the differences in quality?
Found these in my parents attic, still in decent condition.

The game came with a free Mega Key 3 (its what it says on that big spike letter box).
Enjoy!
That is interesting!!! Were there any other games that came with this? So was this game not officially supported by Sega or something?
This is the only one i remember.
I think it was, but Dragon Ball was very popular in Portugal and they wanted to cash in!
There was a 2nd print and they used the French version (PAL cartridge).
