HUH? Why would him of all people not be playable?
Quoted from S0L from the sega forum:
Which I'm guessing probably means no Miku. (among other things)
Some updated votes:
Segata: 1854
Miku: 1603
Ryo: 779
vectorman: 699
Ristar: 607
Bayonetta: 563
P.s. more Bayonetta votes please.
Because it seemed all the major Sonic characters start unlocked except for him
Voted for Bonanza Bros. and T&E. The Bros. should have been brought over from the first game, but T&E would be an awesome surprise. Doesn't look like it's going to happen though.
(Third vote went to Phantom R which is even more unlikely.)
You crazy individual!I finally managed to S rank the Roulette Road one. Feelsgood.
4chan
She's popular waaaaaay beyond 4chan.
You should stop playing this game and go play Golden Axe 1 to remedy this.I've never played Golden Axe so it means NOTHING to me.
Segata is already in the game, so i don't see why license would prevent them from making him a playable character.
watBeat grand prix to unlock the last character.
wat
I beat GP ages agoand still haven't gotten the last character. Hell, I just got to 166 stars.pun intended
Now somebody please vote for Kiryu to complete the great Manly Trio ;.;.
...and while we're at it, any chance for a Kamuro-cho stage for a future DLC release, S0L?

You need a Haunter in your life to return that laughter and joy you've seemingly lost.
But all things considered you should very much enjoy this.
It took me ages to recognise Metal Sonic's theme, it wasn't until I decided to randomly go play the Boss Fight in Episode 2 the other day that I noticed, it's actually a pretty good theme.
Still would've much preferred Stardust Speedway bad future, those sirens would work so well here.
No Welkin is a travesty I say, all this manly trio talk but no one brings him up, Welkin is all man I tell ya!
heh I complained last time that the staff ghosts were insultingly easy, they certainly addressed that this time
Starting to get the hang of these harder modes...if I can get an All Star near the latter part of the race, I have a good chance of getting first. Otherwise, it isn't happening.
It gives you a message when you have level 2 or level 3 boost but it is hard to tell when you have level 1.

On the PS3 at least, there's a noticable vibration at Level 1. I can usually go by that.
Enjoying the single-player stuff, but the online (360 here) is kind of a mess. Beyond the connection errors, locking up the system and really curious collision detection between players, the simple act of getting to the race is a bit tedious again.
It's too bad, because both games are really solid, like--it's all there, man, but unless you're hardcore into time trials (which are well done fwiw), smooth online sauce is what keeps the interest going. This shit needs some seasonings!
I'm hungry.
I do have one more complaint that I forgot to mention, like, if I were to just ignore my complaints about the comparisons from the last game and just talk about something else as I still think the drifting itself is good, my complaint would be how it's kinda difficult to tell when you have boost.
Usually boosts in games have something more flashy, and different sounds and colors to show you what boost stage you're at and if you have boost or not, I usually find it hard to tell if I have it in this title.
I'm working on it, I'm in the process of catching a Ghost Pokemon right now to fill the void that gaming isn't doing with me anymore!
I didn't realize it till now, but I honestly think that Episode II Metal Song song is my favorite Metal Sonic song. Although, in Episode II the only ones I can say are great are Sky Fortress 2 and Metal Sonic.
This is one thing they certainly improved.
Keep it up!

PS3 online is pretty barren at times, but it also works fine. I've had a few 10 player races that were pretty stable.
You can only find people on Wii U in the race mode. No one is playing Battle or Lucky Dip. I want to try battle mode dammit!
Didn't have any connection issues besides the collision stuff on 360. Well, sometimes if there is a full room of people there will be some lag.
Speaking of weird collision problems, there's a point on the NiGHTS stage where you transform from a boat to a plane. I've only raced the track once but every lap when I hit that point, my plane would veer way off to the right as soon as it transformed. Was pretty annoying.

Oh good so it's not just me, I actually mentioned this one a few days ago as well but they all called me mad!
Well they didn't but I was the only one with this issue.
The transformation points seem to have odd collision on the NiGHTS stage. Randomly when transforming into a boat I'd crash on what appeared to be nothing, or suddenly veer left or right. Transforming into a plane at the shrine is also a bit wonky, there really ought to be a ramp or something there.
