Even if Luke kills some of the Knights of Ren, but I think there should be at least some of them to stick around and have some character development, as well as, maybe, some more Jedi...

It seems more likely Rey would want Luke to kill Kylo than the other way around.

Yeah, I don't see much of a point of the mask (other than the cool voice I will deeply miss) considering the events from the last film. Hoping they change something about his physical appearance a little, though. Maybe just the scar. Maybe his face will be more fucked up than we think.

With Kylo, Hux, Phasma and Snoke all in play, plus Del Toro's character who is presumably a villain, there isn't really much room for the other Knights of Ren.

I can only imagine what security is going to look like on those sets going forward. If they wanted to, imagine how easily they could have fucked with the set.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they did do something subtle to see if it's ever caught or not.

If I was a big enough asshole to sneak onto a movie's set, I'd probably also try and steal a piece of the Millennium Falcon or at least a rock.

  • There is smoke.
  • A ship appears to have crashed.
  • A group of men dressed as black knights with black helmets approach the smoky debris.
  • All of the knights then kneel around the smoky location.
  • It appears as if one of the knights perished in the crash or someone important is about to step out of it.
Because it appears the ship may have digital extensions to it in the finished film, we can’t be certain this isn’t the knights’ ship itself and they crash land on Ahch-To. With Kylo Ren nowhere to be seen for this sequence, there is a chance he crash landed and they’re kneeling before him and he will exit the ship, perhaps with close-ups to be shot elsewhere. We have no indications at this time as to why the crash occurred and I’m just guessing as to what it could mean. Some within our circle have guessed that it could be a funeral pyre, but at this time I do not believe that to be the case.

I'm guessing it takes place before the duel on Ach-To.

I wonder if Kylo is the only Ren with a lightsaber. I thought they were all Force sensitive and kind of like the new Sith Lords...but maybe not.

Honestly, i think Thrawn would be "wasted" in Rebels.

They have the (imo) perfect actor to play him (del Toro), a rather blank state in terms of the First Order, man i would love to have him in the next movie.

What could work is Rebels having a young Thrawn and the movies have Thrawn return as a seasoned admiral/commander ... yeah i just want to have Thrawn in the mainline movies. ^^

Cool, I hadn't thought of this. Del Toro's role us hush hush, and he would indeed be perfect to play Thrawn. Would love to see that. But it's probably just Rebels stuff. But who knows.

Yeah, Breznican at EW seemed to be hinting it was the kyber crystals the Empire were after. They need them for the superlaser. Maybe they test out the Death Star on Jedha.

Not sure what the deal is with spoiler and tags, by the way, are we just free posting? Would definitely be easier. Just wanted to tag in case.

Right, makes sense to me. Wonder if there was some huge battle and that Jedi fled from the Empire? Will love more background info about this and its roots with the Force/Jedi.

Yes, the idea is that anything that might be a spoiler can be posted openly without fear of backlash. The title is meant to indicate this is an "anything goes" zone for spoilers and rumors. Basically if someone opens this thread they're coming to get (potentially) spoiled (by rumors that may or may not be true).

Though, I had figured this thread was all but dead. :p

I would love for them to see Force users who don't use lightsabers. Have them do some crazy stuff with blasters and spears! Limiting yourself to a short-range weapons seems really dumb, and you'd think that dark side users would take every advantage they could get.

As long as the action/screenplay is done well and doesn't turn into technical gymnastics, I'm all for it. Each technique should be thoughtfully realized so it doesn't devolve into a cheap action movie.

I could believe that. Its right after Rogue One weekend, so everybody seen that and they hungry for more Star Wars, remind them got a new one with all those characters you liked from TFA coming next year.

Looks like we might be returning to the flashback from TFA in VIII. Making Star Wars reckon a few scenes were filmed with adolescent kids that could take place before and after the small scene with Luke putting his hand on R2.

As we have heard the rumor, a sequence appears to involve Rey, Luke Skywalker, Artoo, Kylo Ren and dead bodies of youthful characters. An inactive adult Rey at the scene makes us think this is probably a continuation of the flashback sequence Rey began on Takodana. Rey appears to be a bystander, making us think this is her vision of the past seen from her perspective.

Apparently lightsaber props were built for the trainees Luke was teaching, but they were never used in TFA. Perhaps they held off and Rian decided to use it in VIII.
