I don't get why it's hard to understand. I mean, when was the last time the woke Western game journalists got pissed by a game? Show me an example similar to Stellar blade where they have melt downs over twitter and Reee because of a sexy lead woman character? The scale is different from the example you've mentioned. They're not even in the same league.

What part of the main lead character do you not understand?

A game where you play the lead character for the entire game similarly to Tomb Raider, Horizon series and so forth. The whole game revolves around that person. Not some supporting character.

Your examples are different. Niche titles or games where the pretty women aren't the main focus character aka side characters.

Unicorn overlord? The main dude is a generic Prince where the story revolves around him. Different scale, different league, and not even remotely similar to Steller blade.

It's cool with me if you disagree, but at least understand that there's reasons why Eve has stirred up such a storm in the gaming sphere as opposed to the examples you've provided. Stellar Blade is receiving a lot of heat by the usual suspects simply because it's from a South Korean studio that has zero tolerance for feminism. South Korea in general is very conservative and frown upon modern Western "progressive" ideas, so this isn't surprising. Yeah it's not gonna be an easy course as it requires the whole western culture to rehabilitate itself. But big change starts small, I hope success with Stellar Blade, there will be more successor seeing this route is profitable and sustainable. Not necessarily they all need to be all overly sexy, just go back to the normal fine taste of aesthetics, like Elizabeth in Bioshock, Elina in Uncharted, or the OG Lara.

preorders really don't mean shit. Like only a few percent of gamers preorder games. It is not indicative of how it will do sales wise on release. People said the same thing about Hi-Fi Rush being #1 for like a day on the Playstation store. It didn't even crack the top 100 being played Playstation games when it came out last month

All Asian cultures are very conservative. Almost all the wokies in North America have never traveled outside of the US and probably aren't aware other countries even exist. Their heads would literally explode if they visited any Asian countries and tried to do their wokeshit there
