IMO play charge to get used to the flow.
God no. SFIV's is awful. Inconsistent, over-designed, and garish. SFV's is modern and stylish. Not even a contest for me. SFIV looks so ancient and out of date now going back to it.

I have to say that I enjoy FANG's voice in the story but in his intro, and whatnot. I don't like it. lol
I usually only play Ken and Cammy (II, Zero, Vs, Versus, III (no cammy tho), IV, xTK) and it will probably stay that way for SFV.... wasn't really feeling Ken in beta 4 whereas Cammy finally clicked with me in that one.
Definitely interested in Juri and Ibuki the most out of wave 1, Boxer (please bring back SFIV alt 1) and Urien next. Not really that hyped for Guile or Alex though that could change after playing as them.

Not sure who my secondary main will be, I played Gouken in IV so gotta find someone new.

I'll get the Everyone To Level 5 trophy before I settle on a main but I expect I'll play Ken since he's most similar to USFIV Dan.

Ryu, as I always do, but I'm dying to play with Rashid, Alex, and my boy Zangief.
I'm definitely maining Laura since she's probably the closest thing to Makoto I'll get for at least a year. I'll also be picking up Cammy to cover bad matchups (Chun Li) and Ken to style on fools for fun. Usually I always pick Ryu over Ken for my shoto but he just looks so much cooler in this game.
Interested in seeing how Alex, Ibuki and Juri turn out. Juri was tons of fun in SFxTK, her combos were stylish plus she had one of the most damaging supers that you could reset the opponent into a crossup mixup shenanigan. I'm hoping they change up Ibuki a lot and make her more footsies based like her 3s iteration than the knock down vortex monster she was in SF4. Alex hasn't been in a Street Fighter in so long I just want to see what they do with him.

Nah. SFV is boring as hell. It's minimalist and clean but it has no identity.

I'm German, but my main PSN account is an american one. Has been since I got the PS3 in 2007.
Now I know that I can't access an in-game-store of an european copy from my US account. But that has never been a problem, since all content was available from the german PSN store as well. So I just bought it there, installed it, and went on to use it with my US account.
But in SFV, there's also Fight Money. Which you can earn online, and it is surely bound to your account.
And I assume that you can't spend Fight Money in the regular PSN store. You surely have to use it in the in game shop.
So I'm afraid that if I play my german copy of the game with my american PSN account, I will earn Fight Money only for my US account, which I can't spend because I can't access the german in-game-store from my american account.
Is my assumption correct?

Agreed, this is one of their best games in terms of UI lately. SFIV wasn't great, though it wasn't the eye punishment that was SFxT.
I also think it's boring, but it doesn't really feel thought out. So much wasted space.

Don't remind me. I prefer playing SFxT over SFIV, but the presentation was a strain at best. Colors clashing and all.
Would make a lot of people happy I guess. And in time for evo if early June ?

Anyway, what is a charge character? Is it a fighter who you can be very aggressive with? Are Ken and Nash charge characters?
Hey Scotia, if Sean turns out to become a playable character, would you be able to help me out with combos and such? I think I will need help learning the character.

A charge character is one you hold a direction for a short period then press another direction to do moves with. Bison and Chun-Li are both charge characters, Vega and Nash used to be.
Aggressive characters are usually called rush down.
No, people generally refer to very aggressive characters as "rushdown" style.
Charge characters are ones that have inputs where instead of doing a motion with the d-pad (like down, down-forward, forward + P for Hadouken) they hold a direction for a set amount of time, then press the opposite direction plus a button (like Guile's Sonic Boom in SF4 is back ~1 second, forward + P).
