The black with colored analog rims is what gets me.Yeah. I’m really digging the design overall. It’s basically the Switch 1, only refined in every way.
Loved the OLED with the white joycons. The black with colored analog rims is what gets me.
I’ve been sick of the pastel colors of the og switch for years already (i highly preferred the gray joycons and the white oled)
It got me hard.
I’m really feeling it. In theory, I like the fun, colored joycons, but in practice they end up looking bad and toy-like over time. The black with colored analog rims is what gets me.

wont be hard, its a ninth gen console that will have a 3-4 year head startI have no doubt this will win the gen 10 home console race. Nintendo knocked it out of the park.
Switch 2 is a 10th gen and will be competing against the Xbox Next and PS6.wont be hard, its a ninth gen console that will have a 3-4 year head start
By the way, that second image isn’t an official render. Just thought I’d point that out since this thread is specifically about its visual design.

It honestly reminds me of going from the xbox 360 buttons to the xbox one buttons (the color reversal, instead of candy buttons, we got black buttons with colored lettering)I’m really feeling it. I feel like Nintendo’s approach here is the best of both worlds. We get a little bit of color to make things pop and look fun, but it’s not so much that we’ll get sick of it.
Switch is 8th gen, which makes the 2 a ninth gen, and itll be directly competing against the current ps5 and series xSwitch 2 is a 10th gen and will be competing against the Xbox Next and PS6.
Switch 1 is 9th gen, which makes the Switch 2 a 10th gen. We likely wont see the start of gen 10 for another 3 years

The Switch was declared the next gen system after the Wii-U by Nintendo.
The Switch and Wii U can’t be both the same generation by logic…The switch is recognized as an 8th gen system
The wii u and switch are both considered 8th gen to be specific as the Wii u started 8th gen but due to its failings Nintendo swapped it out for the switch in less than 5 years of its launch.
It directly competed against the ps4 and xbox one for three years (even though it felt more like four wince the ps5 and xsx were practically non-existent for the first year)

That is a great looking console.I still have a sweet spot for the Wii in vertical mode.
Nintendo confirmed it was a next gen console, not a mid gen. It's also being tracked in sales as a 9th console. Nintendo started gen 9, and PS/Xbox were late to the party. The switch is a mid 8th gen replacement for the failed Wii U.
Two systems in the same generation like the Sega Genesis and Sega CD are both 4th gen consoles.

the wii u didnt have a full life-span compared to the others due to its poor sales, the switch was sort of nintendo on panic modeThe Switch and Wii U can’t be both the same generation by logic…
Who says that? Even for Nintendo was a new generation…The switch is a mid 8th gen replacement for the failed Wii U.
