The switch is a mid 8th gen replacement for the failed Wii U.
Two systems in the same generation like the Sega Genesis and Sega CD are both 4th gen consoles.
Why the hell would the world care about which gen Nintendo thinks the Switch is? The multiplats are either nonexistent or run like shit. And that's what the world cares about, games, not hardware, go poll the world yourself, you finna find out. Thanks for polling the world
The ergonomics, as usual, look atrocious.
I don’t know how anyone plays this in handheld mode
Did your uncle who works at Nintendo tell you that?Rumor is they will sell an upgrade kit for your Switch OLED for $200.
Yep, beautiful is the last word I'd use to describe it.Looks as bland as it can get honestly.
If displays ever stop being dependent on the size of the device, this could switch back for both gaming devices and phones. Maybe, if AR screens become mainstream...While I do like the thinner bezels and form factor way more than the first Switch and the Steam Deck, I have to say I do miss when portables use to be pocket sized. I always go back to references like these:
And the vita used to be on the larger side when it came to fitting it in a pocket. I think unfortunately most audiences have spoken in that they just want everything tablet sized.
So Switch 1 slim basically?Yeah. I’m really digging the design overall. It’s basically the Switch 1, only refined in every way.
It's my aunt.Did your uncle who works at Nintendo tell you that?
No, beauty peaked here…

It was the only way I had mine. Took up less space by the TV.Yup, its pretty up there in Nintendo's most sleek design.
I still have a sweet spot for the Wii in vertical mode.
