This game makes From software games play and look like ass!

Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
One of my long term favorites. I remember when the series first got redone on the original Xbox and it was a hard bitch back then. This game has everything you want in an action game.

Save girl with big tits = check
Gruesome violence = Check
Kickass smile on your face gameplay = check
Sweaty palm with heart pounding moments = check
Fast Furous and Fun = Check
Despite being old it still holds up with the best of them = Check

You want to play a From software game that has a high frame rate, doesn't make you feel like your moving in water, generally more fun, and more challenging? If you have not played this and like From software games, you owe it to yourself! I play in on an emulator with 4k and 120FPS and it it glorious!

I only ever played some Ninja Gaiden on xbox 360... dont remember AT ALL. Just that it was hard.
Where to begin? There seems to be quite a bit of remasters are releases

Golgo 13

The Man With The Golden Dong
Ninja Gaiden 2 is a good game but has some weak/cheap sections like the constant Rocket Spamming which artificially inflate the difficulty and are unnecessarily frustrating. I remember playing through it back in the day. and thinking "What the fuck is this nonsense?" Did they tweak any of those weaker aspects in this "remaster"?

I love both for their own strengths, shocking I know. (New) Ninja Gaiden 3 is one of the worst action games I've ever played though, not quite as bad as DMC2 but pretty close.

It’s possible to enjoy and play both. They’re not competing for the same people. I’m happy to see Ninja Gaiden return.

I was thinking about Ninja Gaiden Black when I read the description. 🤣

*Not even the sequel is on its level. Never mind the From Soft-serve.

Team Ninja have always been leagues ahead in terms of action games. Maybe their games are not always lookers, but they always play much better than anything else in the genre.

From look like they have no basic knowledge of proper action gameplay compared to them.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife

I think the common advice is to avoid Sigma and get Black instead.

Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
That's dumb. Fans don't support great character action games, that's why the genre's in decline, everyone's like no, 1, no, 2, no, 3, no, vanilla, no, black, no, sigma, no, remake, no, remaster, trashing the rest whether it's Bayonetta, DMC, Ninja Gaiden or whatever so we get one per aeon. Support great games you enjoy rather than try to elevate one by trashing something you don't like a toddler which in the end works against it, like it can't be good on its own merits and all you can do is say something else is trash, big woop, so you say it's better than something you deem trash, what a high bar🤦‍♂️

Yes, this new remaster is already based on a remaster (Sigma 2) which removed projectile spamming.

But Sigma has jump shot, effortless water running, wearable collectible equipment with bonuses (different across difficulties and survival challenges), and a playable Rachel bouncing around with a big axe.
Every time I've asked the question people always directed me towards Black. Haven't played Signa anyway so feel free to ignore my advice lol.

Sigma's graphics are worse, the Xbox version has some of the better graphics a game has ever had, it doesn't help that the PC port of Sigma is the Vita version so it looks even worse iirc.

Playable Rachel is cool but everything else is the worse version.

All Ninja gaiden games on ps4/5 and steam are Master collection with sigma symbol... so are these just bad ports or are games changed?

Also, Only this new remaster is the only like his in the series? Maybe I wil just play that... Why would they remake 2 and not 1 or 3 if 4 is coming this year ?

Not really. The added vegetation to barren training area and renovation to drab airship hub is very photogenic. The added bump mapping to flat surfaces like doors is also very welcome.

I do find it frustrating that we ended up in a world where everyone wanted to copy the look and feel of Dark Souls rather than Ninja Gaiden. Fromsoft’s games can be fun, but Ninja Gaiden just plays like an absolute dream, and had some fantastic aesthetics.

I think you're comparing two very different types of games where the only thing they have in common is having swords.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was really something special. It's a shame that Tomonobu Itagaki, the main mind behind it all, left Team Ninja. Things seem to have gone downhill for both sides—him with his solo projects and the Ninja Gaiden franchise without him. My hype for Ninja Gaiden 4 is super low because of that. I don’t think Platinum is going to save the day.
