Because unlike Halo 4 Titanfall is good.
tbh think they suffer from the same issues but the Titanfall base probably won't mind.

You would be correct. I can't believe people still cry money hats these days. Not really.
I'm going to take a wild guess but I don't think the people who run the sites ads have much to do with the people who write the reviews.
Can someone answer me this? how can you review an online game if it's not in the wild for at least a week? To review it otherwise is dishonest.
So, while Titanfall delivers amazing next-generation action, its next-generation business plan isnt nearly as impressive.
This game is going to review very well.
I really really wish sites were legally required to (or at least would bother at all) to disclaimer this kind of stuff. This is a totally awesome/depressing example of why people are cynical about cash influencing review scores. Not that they're not allowed to score it a 10/10 but a least be a little more subtle, christ.![]()
Geez, I wonder how it got a 10/10 from them!
Gutted it's not on PS4. Hoping for Titanfall 2.

Titanfall lives up to all the expectations established when it was first revealed, in a way that so few games are able ever to accomplish, and represents nothing short of first-person shooter multiplayer taken to new heights.
Like most successful license-based games, Aliens: Colonial Marines is much more than a loving homage; it serves as one of the most robust story-driven co-op experiences to date. The concept definitely has room to grow, but as maiden voyages go, Colonial Marines is a clear winner.
I put about 12 hours into it over the weekend. The servers have been up long enough these past couple days for them to play it long enough to give it an accurate review.Well that's what you would hope... but then again... SimCity and Battlefield 4.
did they play the same game lol
More? It seems like the vast majority of them are 9 and 10's or 4/5's.Was expecting more 10's and 9's after the way media was hyping this game up.
Scores seem to be lower than I expected.
Any news about 360 version is good news. It exists? Any idea what framerate is going to have?
EGM:
that seems like a safe bet at this point.

An evolution of the core Call of Duty concepts rather than a revolution for multiplayer shooters as a whole, Titanfall feels, in a way, like a hyper-budgeted mod that will only truly see its aims realised in the inevitable sequel.
did they play the same game lol
Seems like the reviews a pretty good game would get.
Somebody can't like a thing more than I think they should like a thing. IT'S NOT ALLOWED!

Oh snap. Eat your heart out![]()
I don't remember BF4 having any major server issues, and Sim City isn't a bad game because of the servers. I'd imagine the TF servers have been up for a while for reviewing, people were playing on them with modified exe.

If you don't play the game it was meant to be played, it's easy to come to the latter conclusion.
Yep, but one is especially invested in the marketing.![]()
You really believe that on site advertising has any impact on the score a journalist, who doesn't get paid based on those advertisement, gives a game?I really really wish sites were legally required to (or at least would bother at all) to disclaimer this kind of stuff. There has to be that one out of place review for every game. Seems like they were just upset there wasn't a single player mode more than anything.

I want to see the receipts.Rumours of a single-player campaign coming along as extra downloadable content are swirling
oh lawd you missed out then

I thought I was commenting in a discussion regarding possible server issues or believability regarding the critics actually playing the game beyond the demos available at press events. Of course I understand why some critics are waiting a couple days. It was just about impossible to find a lobby for anything beyond Attrition, and I imagine that's going to be the case for those playing with VPNs right now.The severs have been up with approximately 1/1,000th of the player population they'll have starting tomorrow. That's why they're waiting to review.
