iteration is fine, iteration after 18 years isn't.
We need a Doom 2016 moment where the old game comes back and just floors everyone with all the inventive new things it is doing while staying close to it's core traditional gameplay.
I'm afraid this just looks like metroid prime HD with a map pack, and that's fine for $40, but if they want me to treat this like an 18 year old sequel to a franchise they need to give me more than a reason to play it, otherwise i can just replay MP1R.
But I'm not a netflix gamer, i don't just consume content, i want a bit more, do new things, experience new ideas, just like MP1 was back on GameCube if you played that at launch.
