Yeah, don't really have a problem with that. The two best games so far this year, MH Wilds and KCD2 do nothing meaningfully new over their predecessors.
i haven't played much KCD2 but wilds is extremely different to prior titles. Especially games prior to worlds

Well at the moment I can play the same digital game on 2 switches at the same time.

Now I can only play it on 1 at a time?

But it looks as though with this system I can share with my third console too?

Fair enough.
You can? Cause when I try that it prevents me from doing it.

Edit: Ok with Switches you own. I tried this with my son and daughter's Switches and it doesn't let you.

LOL so they just made owning more than 1 switch system more complex and are now forcing you to assign game license to per console.

All while making this look like a nice day of sharing your games with your poor friends who can't afford the new games because they've become broke from inflation.

this virtual game card stuff seems to be both an improvement and a downgrade at the same time

while lending games is a great new feature, I wonder if this means signing in to a friends Switch to play your games will no longer work as it does now. this could be extremely annoying

Saga Frontier 2 but no Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon remake?

In what meaningful way? It's the same shit, which is fine since it's fantastic shit.

Worlds was 7 years ago and all they did was remove some loading screens.

Who does this really?

uhm. my friends and I? we do it regularly on basically all systems. and it works the same currently on all of them and is very easy and straightforward to do.

quite literally 3 days ago I had someone over and we Downloaded a Switch game with his account on my Switch to play it

Yeah. I have OLED Switch and a Lite, I have my digital games on both.

I guess the sharing/borrowing with someone else (eg not a switch you own) is new?
I mean the only benefit is yes. If you want to want someone else to use their account.

Personally I wouldn't give a shit but your mileage will vary I guess.

wtf is happening with Sony games?
People wanted dead IPs to live and this is the best way for that to happen and it seems like they struck up a pretty good deal with Bandai Namco to license these IPs out. Funny though that they're still keeping these off Xbox.

have you actually played mon hun games prior to rise?

not only is wilds extremely streamlined but it's also literally a connected open world and the hunts work very differently to the original games.

Did not expect any new announcement, let alone 2026 games. They’re definitely not letting Switch go anytime soon.

160M+ units sold is in the bag.
