"Beginning to hit our stride" is a bold statement considering:
- They unceremoniously shut down the studio that produced their most award winning exclusive of 2023.
- They're currently issuing refunds for another of their "major exclusives" of 2023.
- Starfield continues to receive overwhelmingly negative feedback.
- Forza Motorsport was a flop.
- Hellblade 2 launched like a lead balloon and has largely been forgotten a month after release.
- Of their two remaining major exclusives of 2024 (Avowed and Indiana Jones), they've shown a combined total of 15-20 minutes of actual gameplay.
The only "stride" they're hitting are releasing the multiplatform games that would have released multiplatform
regardless of whether or not they owned them (Diablo 4, COD, Doom, et cetera). Just because they had a great showcase doesn't somehow mean "Xbox is back". They've had great showcases in the past only for the games to either be abandoned after-the-fact or come out and be middling.
