What time is it?
It isn't very good, and did not sell great and the weakest of these style games.

maybe you rabid fans are overestimating how many copies such a game would sell?
PS6 launch title, like Demons Souls
will get a remake for ps6 launch
really isnt any complexities.I think people don't understand the complexities involved.
Bloodborne wasn't made by SIE, so in order to patch or update it, you're looking at contracting out FromSoftware who is clearly busy as it is with Elden Ring and AC6.
If you look at Last Guardian it is the same situation. The team no longer exists and the game hasn't been patched or updated.
Last of Us Remastered hasn't either and that is likely due to the remake. Spider-Man wasn't patched but a remaster was released.
Infamous Second Sons was patched
Sony is no longer in bed with Quantic, so no patches.
The biggest surprise is the lack of an official update for Killzone Shadow Fall to increase resolution, though the game runs 60fps in BC mode.
It’s possible. Someone at Sony has to be gauging interest. Did Demon Souls meet expectations? Perhaps? Maybe not. Is Bluepoint interested in remastering more games? maybe not. Maybe they are remastering one last game, that game being Bloodborne. Only thing that matters is if Sony thinks they can milk money.I bet Bloodborne would outsell any other sony game on steam
Sadly It wasnt in the Nvidia leak
Not sure how this is a response to me.really isnt any complexities.
theres no financial incentive. Xbox has had a extremely dry spells of no games. Things would look pretty dire for years without the Bethesda purchase. Halo and Forza are the only notable things to come out in a whilee. Hence they had a incentive to update old games, to have content. Money isnt a issue for them. management of development is.
Sony doesn‘t need the original developers to update a game. Simply they don‘t see the financial reason to. Is the point. Not sure how this is a response to me.
Can you point to a time when Sony had an internal team update a game made by an external or no longer in existence developer?Sony doesn‘t need the original developers to update a game. Simply they don‘t see the financial reason to. Is the point.
I hope not. No FromSoft = nope.Because team is busy making Bloodborne 2
Gta5 it's doing it several times now, for more than a single generation. Ps5 can't run BB in it's current form @ 60fps, why not release it for ps5/pc?What the point to remaster a game from PS4 for PS5?
Because Demon’s Souls was older and could not be played on PS5.
Bloodborne can be played on PS5.
What the point to remaster a game from PS4 for PS5?
But hat can be done with a patch. To improve performance ?
I don't even care about BB that much but even I am just wishing Sony remasters it so at least this part of the internet's painful history can be put to close.
So you want a patch... it will be remastered to PS6 I guess.Gta5 it's doing it several times now, for more than a single generation. Ps5 can't run BB in it's current form @ 60fps, why not release it for ps5/pc?
Yeah. Also remastering a game always come with the chance of the dev team fucking up with the atmosphere and designs, so... Yeah, just patch it for PS5 and release it on PC.Honestly, do they really need to? Aside from a 4k upscale and 60fps, Bloodborne holds and will hold up well and only really needs a patch like GoW, GoT, Days Gone and Horizon got
I do want a PC port though, if only to have that Souls Collection on Steam be complete
I think those games where much more niche back then than today, as imo they got more populr after DSIII and now Elden Ring.maybe you rabid fans are overestimating how many copies such a game would sell?
Depends on the age of the game IMO. Remaking Bloodborne, a game from last gen, just doesn't really make sense IMO.Remake > Remaster
Exactly. For Bloodborne to be so "niche", it still received a lot attention in the form of Sony related merchandise too. Just as much, if not more than other IPs that got ported to PC.I think those games where much more niche back then than today, as imo they got more populr after DSIII and now Elden Ring.
There also seems to be a fuckton of PC gamers who want to either play it for the first time or just double dip to play it at a higher res and framerate.
Honestly, I would love it to receive either a console patch or a port to PC. Game's awesome and people should be able to play it at it's best, which sadly isn't on the PS4.
Yep. Bloodborne 2 will be anounced along with Bloodborne 1 remaster. They’ll release bloodborne 1 first to drum up hype and sales for Bloodborne 2Because its coming soon with the announcement of bloodborne II by bluepoint games. There will be a PS5 version of bloodborne at 4k smooth 60fps with barely any loading thanks to ssd.

Easily 5m copies on Steam alone.maybe you rabid fans are overestimating how many copies such a game would sell?
Because remasters are waste of time, money and expertise from all parties involved. It made some sense when retro compatibility was not a thing, but now? It's time to o move on...
he said "poorly-made tech wise" he ain't lying and he wasn't talking about review scores... you took it there. I'm a big fan of From games... they lack on the tech side.not enough interest? for the last 7 years people have been crying for a bloodborne remaster/sequel.
it's alright if you don't like the games but you're talking shitpoorly made? Elden Ring is higher rated than any PS exclusive title so yeah alright...
Why does this need to be remade?
Considering from was making dark souls 3, sekiro, and bloodborne at the same time. I think with the hell of blue point, they can easily make a BB2. Blue point made a perfect remake of demons souls.I think people don't understand the complexities involved.
