Yet another Hosoda work with imagery that will be familiar to anyone who has watched Summer Wars. This short is essentially just an advertisement for Louis Vuitton, but not many commercials have been created as a music video collaboration between Mamoru Hosoda and superflat artist Takashi Murakami. In any case, it's only five minutes, so there's not really any good reason not to watch it.

Louis Vuitton are monsters.

Well I wouldn't argue that Renton is a good mecha protagonist, I don't think anyone could say he's as bad or worse than Flit.

I would. Renton is a dorky boy who grows into a man who can kick ass in a giant robot and shout with the best of them. He's as mecha protagonist as they come. Excluding regular hot-blooded always shouting types.

This sounds like something worth watching.

They have development at least. Amuro and even Char develop over the course of their series. They become lesser assholes. Some people are actually likable there. Geass just takes it too far to the extreme.

Code Geass is a great show. Solid action, solid comedy. The writing played to the strengths of the material, and it was incredibly memorable. Not a surprise that it remains incredibly popular and ironic long after it has ended.

Hell no. The upcoming srsbiz arcs are some of the best the series has offered yet. Benizakura is only the tip of it all.

Absolutely true, but Code Geass and Lelouch, for that matter, still aren't nearly as bad as yami4ct says they are.

You want a show without any likable main characters? That's closer to Guilty Crown if anything.
