If Amazon discounted it, that would mean Nintendo and Monolith Soft will still get the cut they should have gotten at full price. Amazon eats up the difference.

Youtubers do this not because it is the proper way to play but because they want to be first to post the new content for more views, the remake is really not new content so they are pushing the hype for future connected.

a lot of people have copies, I see 2 youtube channels with their PART ONE let's play videos of over an hour long posted. One is 2 and a half hours long. I glimpsed a little bit.

this game is not really a game you can just play again from scratch no matter how many years it has been once you know the twists it is hard to look at the early game the same way as if you did not know

Visually they didn't censor anything on Xenoblade 2, I don't see any reason Nintendo censor Definitive Edition.
I pre-ordered that game from EBgames long before the COVID, I'm hoping by July my local EBgames re-opens.......right?......RIGHT?

Personally im disappointed graphically. At least on the handheld as I always play that way. Game is so obviously blurry and...pixelized. i dont know how to explain but i mean Dragon Quest 9, Ni no Kuni and others are way way sharper. This looks like Vaseline was spread all over the screen.

People said same thing about XC2 in handheld mode and sure it’s much lower resolution compare to other Switch games in handheld mode but I honestly didn't have much issue putting 300 + hours in to the game in handheld mode.......but that’s just me.

Donno, im a first time Xenoblade player so im not sure yet if its gonna grab me or not but it really was obvious how low res it was. Just surprised me.

If this is your first time playing Xenoblade game then just play it on your TV, the scale and beautiful environments, even without the resolution problem its better first experienced on TV.

I'm probably going to get this although I purchased it on the wii (as an import) and 3DS and have yet to beat it. I don't think I could ever really get the rhythm of the combat. Any tips with that?

Theres absolutely np reason why this game should be lower than 720P in handheld mode. I hope a day one patch fixes something but I doubt it. I was really shocked when I started playing it at how low res and blurry it is. And Ive played a lot of switch games in handheld.

Well that's a massive disappointment. Xenoblade 2 was an eye sore to look at. Was hoping I wouldn't have to experience that again

dipping as low as 378p on handheld is, quite simply, unacceptable. This isn't a port of a PS4 or Xbox title but a ground up remake of an older title, they should either sort the shitty XC2 engine out, or tone things down so it can run at least 540p handheld and 720p docked at all times.
Going to hold off my day-1 purchase until more impressions come in over how it looks.

It's about what I expected, when it comes to Nintendo I don't expect the bleeding edge in graphical fidelity and I get the frustration that may bring, hell I wish they would release strong hardware but for what we got I'm pretty content with it. What has me puzzled is why these Xenoblade games preform so badly BotW is a more demanding game and runs better and so does dq11 maybe it's something with the engine?
