Awesome. Can't wait to finally play this!

To be fair, there is new content in addition to a large patch. New assets, music, story, gameplay, etc.Honesty i hope it's a 3/5 dollar tag price for update of existing version..
It's not a NEW GAME, it's some new feature on an existing game..
You want to call it dlc (while i honesty would consider it a generous patch) be my guest, but for existing owners this must come at a substa tial discount..
I know some will defend this saying "don't pay, you're not obliged to play this", but feigning ignorance on a problem is not solving it..
We started with an armor on an horse and everybody played it cool, see how dlc have now become more and more part of gaming..
We're now calling definitive edition a large patch for an existing game that was out like 1 year ago or so for the VERY SAME systems..
Honestly i'm not fine with this practice..

So nobody has heard an update about the 360 version?
No details on pricing yet?
Out in three days and no pricing?
Works for me! Excited to revisit Ori this weekend.I don't think any of you will be shocked by the upgrade fee
There's a trailer coming up pretty soon, as far as I know, the price and upgrade path pricing will be announced at the same time.

Will there be new achievements for this? I know Windows Central reported there were, but it sounded like a guess. If yes, are we looking at a full 1000 or an addition to the base game?
Native 21:9 support added? Or will we still need an external fan fix(Flawless Widescreen)?
Wouldn't be very definitive if they didn't actually add it in....
Choice to buy?Windows 10? Jesus this stupid app store is dominating the titles here.....
I dunno if I was in a bitchy mood or what but the game's opening felt tree sap slow. picked up after that
Choice to buy?
Jesus games are games, just buy the ones you want. Now storefronts are an issue? Good content should be king, not this stupid shit.
OT - What does this mean for those of us that own the original game?
I wish there was a no-combat mode. The original game was so tedious when dealing with the respawning enemies.
Upgrade: $ 4,99

The new trailer suggests the PC versions are launching later. Wonder what the deal is.
Yes, we did announce a release date of March 11th. But to make sure everyone who plays Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition gets a great experience regardless of platform, were taking a bit of extra time with the Windows Store and Steam versions. We will launch the Xbox One version on March 11, and will update you soon on when the other versions will launch.

I'll upgrade for $5. Thomas, are there new achievements or are they the same?
All new achievements, baby!
Hey everyone,
Yeah, there were some issues left to fix regarding the PC versions that we couldn't tackle in time... We're burning the midnight oil to get the Windows 10 and Steam versions out ASAP. I know we said before that these versions would also be release don March 11th, but we just couldn't make it in time anymore. I hope you guys understand that situation, we didn't want to push something out that wasn't quite ready yet.
There will be a bunch more very positive Ori news in the upcoming weeks - We're super excited about a few upcoming things and I'm sure you guys will love it, too
I hope you guys enjoy the Definitive Edition of Ori. Another year of work was put into it and with all the new features, I'm hoping that we made all of you happy with the DE!![]()
I see new areas, story, abilities, and fast travel, anything else added to the game?
So I finished the original game, if I upgrade, do I need to start a new game to see the new areas and such?
May I ask why I keep reading "Windows 10" instead of just Windows Store? Since it's also playable on Windows 7 and 8, I feel like it's needlessly confusing.
Other than that, I'll be eagerly waiting for the DE. 5$ for an upgrade is no problem.
There's a Windows 10 version and then there's the Steam version. Two separate things.
That's my point. Windows 10 in this case refers to the store, not the OS, and it can be needlessly confusing.
It´s a completely seperate game in your library.
So nothing carries over (no saves, no achievements, ...)
