And he knew about cars, building space rockets and neuro science? Musk has proven that one can succeed in any business as long as you appoint right people and manage them well. If anything, managing videogame company is probably one of the easier things Musk will do.

For all we know he could just be trolling or saying something to provoke people, all will depend wether he has passion for this project. Making games is a hard business and it takes many years to see return on investment, so really this can only work of he is passionate about it, which none of us know if that's the case.

He's also very lucky we don't allow Chinese cars to be sold in America or Tesla would be out of business, they do electric cars better and cheaper. Our whole auto industry is lucky for that matter.
